Happy to know that you are interested in taking admission to DEI. The admission procedure is very simple. It goes like this- you'll have to fill out an application form that shall be available in two modes- online as well as offline. The form would cost you just Rs.275. Thereafter you'll have to give an entrance test that shall be conducted by the end of May. You can go through the syllabus on the college's official website. If you clear the cutoff which is just 33% of marks then you'll be eligible to fill out the second form which is meant for GD and PI rounds. A date would be allotted to you for your respective Group Discussion and Personal Interview. At the end, a combined scorecard is prepared that comprises your entrance test, GD, PI, high school, and intermediate marks and also some marks are allotted for certificates in different categories. The institute offers BTech in various specialisations. Candidates from the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics streams securing at least 60% normalized marks or normalized CGPA of 6.00 out of 10 in Mathematics in the intermediate of Class 12 of any recognised board of secondary education would be eligible for admission to the BTech programme. For SC/ST category, a 5% concession is given on Class 12 marks.
