The institute offers BTech in various specialisations. Candidates from the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics streams securing at least 60% normalized marks or normalized CGPA of 6.00 out of 10 in Mathematics in the intermediate of Class 12 of any recognised board of secondary education would be eligible for admission to the BTech programme. For SC/ST category, a 5% concession is given on Class 12 marks.

Happy to know that you are interested in taking admission to DEI. The admission procedure is very simple. It goes like this- you'll have to fill out an application form that shall be available in two modes- online as well as offline. The form would cost you just Rs.275. Thereafter you'll have to give an entrance test that shall be conducted by the end of May. You can go through the syllabus on the college's official website. If you clear the cutoff which is just 33% of marks then you'll be eligible to fill out the second form which is meant for GD and PI rounds. A date would be allotted to you for your respective Group Discussion and Personal Interview. At the end, a combined scorecard is prepared that comprises your entrance test, GD, PI, high school, and intermediate marks and also some marks are allotted for certificates in different categories. JEE Main is conducted in two sessions each year, with session 2 usually held in April. For the current cycle, NTA had announced the JEE Main Session 2 exam dates, and the exams for Paper 1 (BTech) were conducted on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8. The registration for session 2 is now closed. Now, prospective candidates should wait for the announcement of JEE Mains dates for the academic batch of 2026.

Yes, you can apply for the MBA programme at Dayalbagh Educational Institute. As far as your result issues are concerned you need not worry as long as you are expecting the results to be declared by the time the personal interviews would be conducted i.e. somewhere in the middle of June. But do make sure you have all your original documents at the time of registration including all your mark sheets as well, failing to which you shall not be allowed to take admission even if you are selected with a good score.
