CUET English Question Paper
CUET English question paper 2026 will be released soon after the exam is over. Candidates who are preparing for CUET UG 2026 exam must download the English previous year question papers to prepare well for the exam. CUET English previous year question papers for 2025, 2024, 2023, and 2022 are available in PDF format for free. CUET UG 2026 English Exam Pattern
NTA prescribes the CUET exam pattern. The exam is divided into three sections. Candidates will be able to opt for a maximum of five subjects from all three sections. To become familiar with the CUET exam pattern, candidates must download CUET practice test 2026. Check below to know the CUET exam pattern and other important details about exam.
- Mode of the examination: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Negative marking: -1 mark for every incorrect answer
- Total number of questions: 50 questions
- Total CUET English marks: 250 marks

CUET UG question paper for each subject will consist of 50 questions. Candidates will be required to attempt all questions and no optional questions will be provided. In CUET UG 2026 there are 37 subjects- 13 languages, 23 domain subjects and general tests. While filling the CUET application form, candidates can select upto five CUET subjects aligning with the subjects studied in class 12th and course requirement.
Candidates must attempt all the questions of the subjects selected. However, candidates must keep in mind the negative marking and select the options carefully.
As per the CUET UG 2026 exam pattern, the question paper will include 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted for 13 languages, 23 domain subjects, and general test. Each subject will consist of 50 MCQs and there will no optional questions. All questions are mandatory to attempt. For every wrong answer negative marking of one mark will be attracted.

CUET English PYQ 2024 PDF Download
CUET 2024 English question paper can be downloaded from the link below. The question paper consists of 50 questions, out of which candidates had to attempt 40 questions.
CUET English PYQ 2023 PDF Download
The CUET questions are objective in nature and carries four options also known as MCQs. Candidates will have to choose the correct answer option and click on it with the help of mouse. Since CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in a CBT mode, test-takers will be able to mark only one answer option. In case it is the correct option, students will get +5 marks and in case of wrong answer, negative marking scheme will be applied. Hence, candidates must ensure the accuracy of the answer before selecting the answer.

You can't do BBA from CUET with PCB in 12 th as CUET requires the same subjects as in 12th for BBA you need math's English and general test
