Computation of Admission Merit: The admission merit will be based on Academic Merit, Admission Test in Online Supervised mode and Interview in Online Supervised mode.

Written Objective Test: The test will have questions that will be of graduate level on the subject concerned. Admission to Dayalbagh Educational Institute is based on the merit scores of the last qualifying exam. The scholarship also aims to support the families of the fallen heroes. With the scholarship candidaets can get a 100% waiver in the tuition fees. 50% waiver of the tuition fee is given to candidates who belong to the close family of war injured CAPF personnel. 

Pandit Deendayal Energy University offers Merit Scholarships to make higher education more accessible for meritrious candidates. There is no eligibility restriction related to the annual income of candidate to avail the scholarship. A total of four candidates are shortlisted for the scholarship given they have scored more than 85 percentile in management entrance exams CAT or XAT. Candidates recieving this scholarship will get 50% scholarship waiver from their tuition fee. 

Dayalbagh Educational Institute only offers one specialisations i.e., Social Science. The BA course is offered as a regular and honors degree. The UG-level programme is offered across specialisations such as Social Science and Home Science. BA at DEI is also offered in integration with BVoc which lasts for four years.

According to Dayalbagh Educational Institute’s rule, students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance to appear in the end-semester examinations.

Students whose total attendance is less than 75% will not be allowed to appear in the end semester examination and will be declared fail for that semester and year accordingly.

Yes, Dayalbagh Educational Institute does offers BSc course as a regular and honors degree. The UG-level programme is offered in multiple specialisations such as BSc (Hons) Home Science,  BSc (Hons.) Sustainable Community Science,  BSc Agriculture, Mathemathics, etc. DEI BSc admission is subject to three factors: Academic Merit, Admission Test,  and Personal Interview. To be considered for admission, candidates must have completed twelve years of schooling from a recognised board. 

DEI Agra offers the M.Tech course in a regular and an online mode of study. Candidates can choose to register and apply for various M.Tech specialisations offered by the deemed to be university. Specialisations offered by DEI Agra for the M.Tech course are: 

• MTech in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
• MTech in Engineering Systems 

The fee range across M.Tech specialisations is INR 3,500 to INR 27,800.

Dayalbagh Educational Institute inducts students into its Diploma engineering programme through academic performance in the qualifying examination. Candidates who qualify for the academic merit round can further register for the counselling period, which involves document verification and fee payment leading to final allotment of seat.

There is no entrance exam; instead Dayalbagh Educational Institute accepts admission into the Diploma in engineering programme through academic merit. Candidates will be selected based on their performance in their qualifying examination.

For admission to the polytechnic, i.e. after 10^th Diploma programme offered at Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI), the candidate must fulfil the following requirements:

DEI admission to the Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) course is also based on AYUSH scores. Candidates seeking admission must have a valid AYUSH score in order to be eligible for the admissions. During the DEI Agra AYUSH cutoff 2024, the last-round BHMS stood at 1321964 for admission to Shivaji University for the General category students in the All India quota. So, the assumed expected cutoff for the upcoming admission session 2025 can stood upto 1330000. Further, this expected percentile is subject to diversity of courses. It can vary different for different course and colleges.
