DDU Nadiad conducts BTech admission process in two ways. For 50% for the total seats, candidates with a valid GUJCET score can apply directly on the university's official website or by visiting the university campus in person. The seats are allotted through a merit list based on the GUJCET scores.For the remaining 50% of seats, the allocation is based on applicant's GUJCET rank, followed by ACPC counselling. For this, candidates must visit the official ACPC website. After completing the registration and application process, ACPC will declare a merit list of eligible candidates. After this, eligible candidates can proceed to fill out the choices for their preferred colleges. Seats are allotted to applicants based on the merit list and the choices filled by them.

The scholarships that BTech students at DDU can avail of are listed below:Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: DD University Alumni Association provides a scholarship of INR 10,000 to deserving students.Scholarship through Shri Pradip and Daksha Dalal Family Endowment Fund: A scholarship of INR 25,000 each is awarded to four engineering students based on merit plus means basis. It can also be renewed for the next three years of the course duration.Financial aid through Shri Pradip and Daksha Dalal Family Endowment Fund: The interest earned on the fund is used to provide financial aid to the students who have lost the family's main income earner, or the main income earner's earning is severely reduced due to a serious medical condition. The aid may vary from INR 5,000 to INR 25,000, based on the interest income and number of applicants.

However, based on the university's NIRF report 2024, 5 out of a total of 59 students, were placed during DDU BPharma placements in 2023. 51 students were selected for higher studies. in 2022, 9 out of 58 students were placed during BPharma placements. Based on this information, it can be said that the placement rate for BPharma at DDU has been ranging from 8% to 15% in the past two years.

In 2023, the closing rank at which BPharma admission was provided through GUJCET was 4,332.
