To get admission to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University (DDUGU), candidates must have at least 50% marks in their Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity, or a Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks. Admission is made on merit, based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination, as per the policy of the State Government and the University. The institution charges only the fee prescribed by the affiliating body/state government. The B.Ed. course is designed to integrate the study of subject knowledge, human development, and pedagogic knowledge and communication skills, with a total of 80 credits.
