List of CUET UG Central Universities 2025: Check Admission Date, Process & Courses

For admission in Universities through CUET (UG) - 2025, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc.. of the respective University / Institution shall be applicable. For appearing in CUET exam there is no age limit, however, candidates will be required to follow the age criteria (if any) prescribed the university in which candidate is desirous of taking admission. As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs.

Mere appearance in the CUET exam will not guarantee admission to the programme untill the candidates has:

• Studied subject (s) in major
• Fulfilled the subject combination criteria

Candidates can apply for CUET score accepting colleges through CUET UG 2025 application form. While filling the application form, candidates will be required to enter the name of the preffered universities and courses in order of preference. On declaration of the CUET results, the scores will be shared with the universities for which candidate has applied. Basis on the score obtained candidate will be shortlisted for the applied course.

Candidates are advised to check CUET programme specific eligibility criteria before filling the application form, failing which they will not qualify for further admission process. 

The CUET UG cut off is determined by CUET participating universities seperately. Parameters on the basis of which CUET UG cut off is released are:

• Total number of candidates that appeared for the CUET UG exam
• The number of seats offered by the participating universities through CUET UG
• The difficulty level of the CUET exam
• Overall performance of the test takers (pass percentage/ score range, etc.)

CUET cut off is based on the percentile of the candidate. To calculate the CUET percentile following formula is applied:

100*Number of candidates appeared in the session with a raw score is equal to or less than a candidate/ total number of candidates appeared for CUET UG.

Students can access the CUET UG cut off list only after the cut offs are released by the CUET UG participating universities. The following steps should be followed to access the CUET cut off list of universities candidate is desirous to take admission in.

• On the homepage, click on the link to the current academic session CUET Cut Off
• A new login page will open on screen. Enter the credentials and submit
• Now, you can access the CUET UG cut off list when released

The above steps will be applicable only if instittues release the CUET UG cut offs. Otherwise, if the institutes release merit lists carrying their scores, then the minimum score would be considered as the CUET UG cut off. Universities like Delhi University does not released CUET cut off. Yes, you will have to appear for the CUET counselling rounds of the central universities. Admission to central universities is offered based on CUET UG scores. Candidates must note that class 12th marks will not be considered for final admission to UG courses of central universities. Class 12th marks are used for tie-breaking criteria. Candidates must ensure to appear for Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses to qualify for counselling rounds.
