Good faculty support, decent placements, and improving infrastructure.

Placements: Around 50% of students also got internships, mainly in editing, translation, content creation, and research-based roles. The most common roles offered are assistant professor (contractual), school teacher, content writer, proofreader, and editor, which matched well with the subject expertise. Around 65-70% of students were placed, with the highest package being 6 LPA, the lowest 2.5 LPA, and the average around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters included schools, colleges, publishing houses, and media companies. Many students also got internships in content writing,

Infrastructure: The department has well-equipped classrooms, a well-stocked library, and basic Wi-Fi facilities. The hostel rooms are clean, with proper water and electricity supply, and the mess food is average but hygienic. Medical support and sports facilities are also available for students.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and explain the subjects clearly, making learning easier. The curriculum is relevant and provides students with a solid foundation for higher studies and career opportunities. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is quite high.

Other: I chose this course because of my strong interest in Bengali literature and language. The best part is the rich syllabus, supportive faculty, and opportunities for research and cultural activities. However, more modern resources, digital facilities, and better extracurricular exposure would make it even better.

DHWU - Diamond Harbour Women's University college of dream.

Placements: In our college, 90% of the students are placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 5,00,000 per year. The average is Rs. 3,50,000 per year. The lowest is Rs. 2,40,000 per year. Since it’s a B.A. course, I don't know much about the companies. All students get internships. Roles offered include teaching, proofreading, and other educational services.

Infrastructure: At our university campus, you can get free Wi-Fi. The classrooms are clean and larger in size. You can access a free library where all books and magazines are available. The hostel quality is very good, with great rooms at very low costs. We have a canteen on campus where you can get delicious food. All necessary facilities are available here.

Faculty: All our teachers hold Ph.D. degrees. They treat us like their own children. The quality of teaching is very good. Their teaching skills prepare us for the industry. It's really hard to score well in semester exams, but if you attend classes daily, you can score easily.

Other: I chose this college because I like the subject and want to succeed in life. Events, festivals, and other programs are held here.
