Everything is fine in the college.
Placements: Generally, 75% to 80% of students got an average placement. The average package is 3.5 LPA-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are private seed and fertilizer companies like Syngenta Pioneer, etc. All B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. courses are available. 100% of students got internships in the private sector.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is good. Food is good in hostel, but some problems for North Indian students. Chappati is not available. Wi-Fi, medical facilities, gym centre, etc., are all available. Canteen is private. Sports facilities are also available. Every year, students are selected for national competitions in different games.
Faculty: All faculty members of college are good. Students are more serious about exams. Without hard study, you can't pass in internal or external exam. We can not cheat on campus. 2nd and 3rd year are little bit difficult. Every subject is easy. If you study well, you can get more than 9.0 CGPA.

Good ambiance, infrastructure, qualified professors, experiential learning, and good placements.
Placements: 30%-50% are placed among the students. The lowest salary is Rs. 15,000 and the highest salary is Rs. 50,000. Recruiting companies are Godrej Agrovet, Jain Irrigation, and Coromandel. 40% of students got internships in Godrej Agrovet, ITC COMPANY, Coromandel, and Jain Irrigation. Roles offered are extension officer, nursery officer, sales officer, regional market officer etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. Labs are very well equipped with the necessary ones. Library has many publications by different authors of different subjects -As it is a student-run mess quality and quantity are very good as supervised by the students themselves. The infrastructure is very good and the college premises are very colorful and maintained very cleanly.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in explaining subjects we are not able to understand. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready by experience. 95% is the pass percentage in our university which shows is that every student get an opportunity to learn more.
Other: As a nature lover and interested in plant life I chose this course. We experienced many things how to cultivate vegetables, fruits, and flowers and how to propagate through vegetative parts, etc. An increase in placements would be the change I wanted. Events like every festival are celebrated in our university with the help of our professors and our vice chancellor sir. Scholarships are also provided to merit students.

Absolutely dissatisfied student because everything is not good.
Placements: The percentage of students may be 25 percent of the total applied. There is no facility for campus placements. Students must find job opportunities for themselves. There will be no internships provided by the college. No placements, so no question of packages.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility in the college. Wi-Fi is only for professors. In hostels, there is also no Wi-Fi. There is only PG in the hostel. The labs are in good condition but there will be no practicals conducted. The classroom facility is good. The library is now under construction.
Faculty: Faculty is good and bad at the same time. Some professors are very good at explaining and understanding the students. But some teachers are not like that. They just come to class, read the lectures and go. Semester exams are not so difficult. The pass percentage is 50 percent.
Other: There will be no fest or any other activities. Yearly, there will be sports meets, but only for one month before they pressure the students. Scholarships are through the Andhra Pradesh government scheme.

Nice environment and good infrastructure.
Placements: Based on EMACET rank, students are placed. There are no particular placements in our college. It is difficult to get placements in this course. The lowest package is ten thousand. So many students are joining this course but there are not enough placements for them.
Infrastructure: All the facilities and infrastructure at our college are so good. The lab, classroom and library are very good. Every use is done in a very productive manner. The quality of the food is very good. They conduct sports and games every year. And encourage all the students to participate.
Faculty: The teaching is very good. They are all qualified and very helpful to the students. They make the students industry-ready. Faculty will teach in an easy way and make it easier for us to understand. That will help the students overcome difficult semester exams. Above 95 percent will pass the exams.
Other: This course is very important for the present generation to provide quality fruits and vegetables. They conduct many events on importance of flowers, etc. And also, students get scholarships from respective governments.

Our college is the best in this country.
Placements: We do not have placements at our college. It is the top college with 99 percent of students. We will be placed in ICAR colleges for further studies. If we have placements, the average package would be INR 40,000 per month. Top companies in the agriculture sector come for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure with virtual classrooms, all departmental labs, super-fast Wi-Fi, and two libraries with one central and one college library. Our college facilitates a hostel with good and healthy food and a canteen. We will have proper dedication in case of an emergency. We have a lot of space for sports and games.
Faculty: Yes, our teachers are helpful. They are highly qualified for their Ph.D. in their course. They have vast knowledge, incredible share with us. Yes, this course makes students industry-ready. We will have 8 semesters throughout the course. It is moderate to hard. The pass percentage is 98.
Other: We will have many activities on our campus that make us really happy.

The college is overall good but not excellent due to the lack of campus placements.
Placements: The college does not offer any placements, which is the main drawback of the college. No internships are offered by any companies. Recruiting companies are mainly SEED companies; the roles they offer are SEED analysts, etc. The starting monthly salary is around 20,000.
Infrastructure: The library has books related to horticulture and also reference books and books for competitive exams. Also, the college has a Wi-Fi facility. The classrooms are equipped with projectors for power point presentations. There is a play ground with a basketball court and wide space for other sports like cricket, volleyball, and kabaddi .
Faculty: The professors are highly knowledgeable persons; their minimum qualification is Ph.D. The curriculum of this course makes the student learn the aspects related to commercial crop growth and difficulties for their growth. The field-level application of the learned subject is somehow difficult the semester exams are easy to pass by referring to previous year's questions.
Other: The campus area has beautiful scenery everywhere due to the greenery. I wish there were some companies offering internships or they could recruit a few students with a good package.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the placements.
Placements: There are no placements provided for the students who are graduated from college of horticulture, VR gudem. If they bring a job opportunity the package is no more than 1.5 LPA There is no internship provided in our college. Every year almost 200 students joined in this course but hardly 2 to 3 people will get a job and most of the students take higher studies and lot of the students go to coaching to get a bank job just like any other graduates there is no specialty of work we get by taking this course.
Infrastructure: For nature lovers the college is eyefeast because it is very beautiful and the nature is very good with very beautiful garden and plants. Infrastructure is very good and well-equipped laboratories, free Wi-Fi available at the campus, very good library. Hostel is very good, managed very neat and clean with good sanitation. Mess food is also good and healthy. Medical facility is not available. Sports and games are very well conducted from time to time with a very big ground. Gym is available in both girls and boys hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified almost all are Ph.D. scholars with experience. Some teachers teaching quality is very well and some are average to below average in teaching. Yes we have lot of field experiments so it make us industry ready. Semester exams are tough pass percentage is 60 %.
Other: I believe that there is a good scope for future through this field but after the graduation I came to know that there is not at all any job offers for the undergraduates. I wish it would be very helpful if they provide job opportunities through campus placements because it is very difficult for the horticulture graduates to get a job. No scholarships are provided, events and fests are happen but it is not so grand just average.

Good college for graduation. Beautiful environment. But we need to focus more on placements.
Placements: The college needs to focus on placements, but few people cracked the AFO, HO, and VHA posts. 40% of students were hired by private agricultural firms. Landscaping assistants, contractual jobs in Research stations, etc. are the roles offered. No internships are provided by the college. If interested students can do it on their own, the college will support them.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi connection, well-equipped practical labs, spacious smart classrooms, library, canteen, playground, etc. are the facilities available. Food is good in the mess. A sick room and ambulance are available. Various sports and games will be conducted.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, and highly experienced staff with vast knowledge are there. The course curriculum is given to students well in advance. In our final year, we will have an experiential learning program and an RHWEP program. Semester exams are moderate to difficult.
Other: Intercollege sports meet, college day, and state merit scholarships are available.
