Very good college with a pleasant and peaceful climate. Everyone will get jobs in this course.

Placements: In B.Sc. horticulture, more than 500 students were studying. In M.Sc. horticulture, nearly 34 members were studying, and our of which, almost 10 students were from M.Sc. vegetable science. A student from Afghanistan was also studying here. M.Sc Horticulture vegetable science, we will be getting max Rs. 60,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is not less than Rs. 40,000- 45,000 per month. Jain Drip Irrigation Company, Coromandel Fertilizers, Nagarjuna Fertilizers, Zero Budget Natural Farmin, and some other startup seed and fertiliser companies offer placements. For B.Sc. horticulture, we will be mostly getting marketing based jobs, but after M.Sc., we will be getting a better job like seed production officer or like a manager, etc. The highest salary package offered in our course is 7.2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered in our course is 5 LPA. The average salary package offered in our course is 6.5 LPA. Until now, we are not offered any internship programme, but we will be doing Rural Horticultural Work Experience programme for 115 days in rural villages with farmers.

Infrastructure: We have a Wi-Fi facility at our college. Along with it, we have equipped laboratories and classrooms with projectors and all new technology. There is a library equipped with books that we need. The hostel is very good and was constructed in 2010. It has a Wi-Fi facility in the hostel as well. The mess was managed by students, and hence the quality of the food served was very good. We have a basketball court, volleyball court, running track, badminton court. Medical facilities are available in the hostel itself.

Faculty: Teachers here were highly qualified, and they have completed PhDs in their respective disciplines. In the final year, we will be doing Rural Horticultural Work Experience programme in villages for 115 days along with the farmers by staying in the village.

Other: I like farming, and the best part of horticulture is that they all are commercial crops by which we will be getting high returns per unit area. The course was very well designed for students. If the students were taken to more educational tours, it would be more helpful for them to acquire more practical knowledge. It is located 10 km away from Tadepalligudem, and there will be auto and bus facility. Inter-collegiate meet will be conudcted once in a year, B.Sc. students were receiving Jhanana Bhoomi Scholarships and M.Sc. students are receiving with a stipend Rs. 5,000 per month for 20 months. PhD students are getting a stipend of Rs. 7,000 per month for 25 months.
