GD Goenka | LCB review for MBA.

Placements: 100% are placed from my batch. The average package received was 8 LPA. The highest went to 15 LPA, and the lowest was 6 LPA. The top recruiting company was ITC Hotels. The whole batch got internships in different companies in their field. The top role offered is area operations head. No entry roles are offered, all are placed in managerial roles.

Infrastructure: The hostel is equipped with good facilities, and the food is also of great quality with multiple options for different food habits. For international students, they serve less spicy food as per their taste buds. And for Jains, they have a different counter.

Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and supportive. The course made us understand what is required for our specialisation and managerial role expectations of the industry. Exams held are as tough as they could be, so it took us storming our brains while writing.

Other: It is offered by LCB, one of the oldest hospitality institutions in the world. As we are the first batch of the course, and the course is internationally monitored by LCB, there is very little room for improvement.

Placements: To be honest placements are average in this college. Some big companies comes for placements in the third semester. But the average package is 3-5 LPA. Opportunities will be come to you but you have to grab it with both hands. Most company will come for marketing specialisation.

Infrastructure: If I talk about the infrastructure, it is good. Course will be interesting and knowledgeable. Hostel facilities are also better in college, good mess, many facilities, good Wi-Fi but only in hostel not in classes. You have to pay accordingly to have these facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are very experienced in this college, almost every faculty have done Ph.D. You can ask your queries to them and they will give you solutions and help you. Exams is divided into 2 parts 1 is mid term and 2 is end term examination. There are many assignments also for every semester.

It is a good college for marketing students with better teachers, but it has no value for money.

Placements: There are lots of placement opportunities for marketing students, but there are fewer opportunities for other specialisations. Many start-ups come for placements, but most of them are for sales and marketing roles. There are fewer opportunities for HR and operations.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good. There are lots of facilities in the hostel, and the charges are according to them. It has a swimming pool, gym, tennis court, shooting range, etc. You will not be allowed to go out of the college without a pass from the hostel warden.

Faculty: Teachers are experienced and cooperative. You will be given many assignments for every subject and every semester. There will be mid-semester and end-term exams. The valuation is unbiased. End-term exams are of 60 marks. MSE is of 20 marks, and the remaining marks are for your assignment.

Other: The fee is high, and it may vary every year.

Satisfied with college as great facilities, infrastructure, faculty, etc.

Placements: I have not yet graduated from the university so I have no idea regarding the placements. But as much as I've heard, the placements are really good and up to the mark, also it depends on the students. The highest salary offered was Rs 31 lpa and average salary stood at Rs 3.5 lpa.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really great. The campus is fully aired, the buildings, the labs, the hostels, gym fully air conditioned. As much as I've heard the campus food is good and edible. All sorts of medical facilities available also access to the ambulance whenever required. Also have access to several sports on the campus, with the availability of the required equipments.

Faculty: Teachers are really great. Highly qualified, helpful and polite as well. The course curriculum we are taught, I suppose, is up to the mark. We are taught via ppts and everything else and they are trying their level best to make us market ready. I just joined the college so I have no idea regarding the semester exams, I really look forward to them.

Other: I chose MBA as I wanted to put my feet in the marketing world and this course would help me do that. This course helps me analyze the importance of the market, the industries, the ideas we come up with in promoting our product, the customers who get satisfied with it. I suppose the course is great so I would like no improvements as such. No events, fests are happened yet, so no views. Plus, the scholarships are satisfactory as given according to our scores in several exams also to our undergraduate marks. Plus, the extra curricular activities are great, several interesting clubs and value added courses are there.

This is good University.

Placements: The percentage of placement of our university is 80% in whole universe campus, the highest package is 10-15 Lacs per year, average is 5-7 Lacs and the lowest is 3-4 Lacs, the top recruiting companies are Decathlon, Tommy Hilfiger, Puma, etc. Our university is offering 90% internship in Lybrate, The capital Box, mom's belief, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities of our university is quite good, they provide us lots of facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, outlets which is totally Air conditioning and the mess facilities is also good they provide us all types of food over there. Our university has paid club facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful towards the students and provide better learning experience to the students the quality of teaching is very good they teach us with smart classes in this course the curriculum is relevant and the students ready to job, and all faculty members are highly qualified.

Other: They offers scholarships.

The college has average placements, good infrastructure and very helpful faculty members.

Placements: At least 30 to 40% of the students were placed in an MBA course. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA for marketing students. Almost 85% of the students are getting an internship in marketing specialising and international management.

Infrastructure: Our college provides very good facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, class projector and hot and cold water according to climate. GD Goenka University hostel is well-furnished and maintained with Wi-Fi, greenery, air-conditioners, water cooler, swimming pool and sports and games.

Faculty: GD Goenka University teachers are very good, well-knowledgeable, helpful and have many years of teaching experience. They interact with students personally. They provide industrial visits every month for better learning and practical knowledge.

Other: I am pursuing MBA in marketing because I like interacting and connecting with new people and learning new things. I wish the college to improve new skills and communication. They organised events, fests, seminars, scholarships, cultural activities and sports and games.
