Review of Graphic Era.
Placements: I think the placements are quite good in this college. Nowadays, the placement session is going on, and students from the 2025 batch are getting placed. Almost 28 students have been placed at Amazon with a package of 47 LPA, which is quite a good package, and many others are also getting placed in other companies.
Infrastructure: The quality of their products and service has improved dramatically over time, and they are still significantly improved in quality. As the cost is much lower and they have been very efficient in their service, as a result they have a very high cost.
Faculty: The faculty members are not required to teach a particular topic in the classroom, but they should respect the rights of both students and faculty members in their class. Students should also have the right to participate in classroom learning as well as in school.

Decent college experience and scope for better extracurricular activities.
Placements: Around 50 to 60% of students got placement. The lowest package offered is 2.5 LPA, and the highest package offered is 5 LPA. I don't know much about it, but it depends upon the students if they are willing to do internship, but the college gives internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, like washrooms are good, neat and clean, and the drinking water is clean. The Infrastructure is good, the class, labs, and library are good. I dont know about hostel facility, but from my classmates who are in hostel, they say hostel is good and the food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and are very experienced in teaching their subject, and have good experience in teaching. Course curriculum is relevant, it does make students industry ready and gives a good exposure to students. Semester exams are not that difficult. The passing percentage in the theory subject is 30% and in the practical subject 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I was thinking of having a career in the corporate sector and to do my masters from this college only. I dont think about what should be improved, I think its good. The college is popular for its events, and mainly for Grafest, where the college collaborates with a celebrity for an event. A scholarship is applicable in this college, it depends upon your Class 12 percentage and then semester wise, depending upon your previous semester CGPA.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2024

Not so good infrastructure but still if you're looking for a decent college with decent placement.
Placements: This year, only about half of the MCA students were placed, probably because of the recession. The highest salary was 9 LPA, and the lowest was around 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies included Tech Mahindra and Accenture, as well as other companies like Rightwave and Jman Group. The college didn't provide any internships, but they required us to complete an internship somehow. The roles offered were Associate Software Engineer, Software Trainee, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Graphic Era Hill University is more like a school than a university. It has just one stall and a vast building. The food is decent, according to my friends who lived on campus.
Faculty: The teachers at Graphic Era Hill University were good, cool, and friendly. Most of the teachers were helpful and were good enough to teach the course material. However, the course curriculum needs to be updated to keep up with industry demands, and students need to be taught soft skills to make them industry-ready, rather than just making them memorize material for exams. The semester exams were moderately difficult, and if you know the topics, you can easily pass by writing down the relevant information.

The college is good for higher education.
Placements: The percentage of getting an internship is not much, but about 60% of students got placed in companies like True Blue, Wipro, and many others. The average package depends on the company and the placement. Minimum package can be of 3 LPA and maximum can be of 22 LPA.
Infrastructure: The quality of food in the mess is good. Basic facilities like well-equipped labs are there, but Wi-Fi and all these types of facilities are not available for students, only for staff. Wi-Fi is available for hoteliers. The sports ground is there, and almost all types of sports are played there.
Faculty: Exams are held every semester, and they are just so difficult. They can be cleared easily if prepared within a week. All the teachers are well qualified, and most of them are Ph.D. holders. Teachers are well knowledgeable. Teachers are helpful too if someone needs help.
Other: College life is good, and the yearly fest is also done. Scholarship is provided based on the result.

It is a good college for good students, but the crowd is very large. It is cheap.
Placements: The percentage of students who are placed in my college is very low. It is 40% of students who get placed, and 60% of the students go to local service-based companies, which is not good. The top recruiting companies in my college are JP Morgan, Google, Visa, and Amazon, and the percentage of students who get internships in our courses is also very low.
Infrastructure: The average infrastructure is not very good in my college, as the Wi-Fi is also very limited to the PCs and is not available for mobile devices. The canteen and mess could use improvement, and I don’t know much about the medical facilities. Sports and games are also lacking.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and educated. Most of the faculty members studied at my college only, and exams are conducted very nicely and are not very difficult. One can surely pass, and the teachers are very helpful and qualified.
Other: Events and fests in college are very good, and the crowd is significant. The connectivity of people is nice, and sometimes I don't understand that there are new students in college, but they are very shy and need to get more professional communication classes, which are lacking in the curriculum. The campus is very small compared to the crowd, and the surroundings are good, as I am from Dehradun, India, so it is good, and the scholarship availability in my college is quite high. It feels like value for money.

Decent Placements but Average Faculty, Outdated Facilities, and Mediocre Campus Life.
Placements: Concerning the placement percentage, uh, like most I resume, around 80% or 90%, I am not certain. Some outrageous figure. Two crores or something around there. And the lowest? Eh, most probably terrible as well. Average? Somewhere between, I mean, 15? 40 LPA or something. You should know the same post companies: Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and whatnot. Internships? I think most people got them or rather are in similar companies but don’t ask me the specifics, it’s pretty hazy to me.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi that functions occasionally, several laboratories that are filled with outdated devices, and rooms that are just standard lecture rooms. There is a library as well, in case you like to browse through books. I am not picky I suppose. The size of rooms is indeed compact, and at times, water is not available. Let me put it this way: you will eat but it’s not what the stars rate. The canteen food is a bit uppish too if you’re lucky. Medical facilities? I’m sure they are available if you really get sick. There are some games but nothing great.
Faculty: They seem to have their head in the game but not all are very helpful. Some do come in, do some talking, and just walk away. Will surely have a look, but there are portions that do seem irrelevant and excessive amounts of theories. Sort of, only because it is likely that you will gather a lot more during your internships or the job itself. Tough. They tend to be difficult, but with enough studying, a student can deal with them. Most people pass, but it isn’t as though the authorities make it easy for the students to pass.
Other: I chose this course because it aligns with my interests and offers great career prospects. The campus has vibrant events, exciting fests, and an energetic crowd. Connectivity is excellent, and the surroundings are peaceful. Scholarships and extracurricular activities provide great support for overall development. Best things? Maybe the degree and placements. Labs are fine, but nothing too exciting. Fests are crowded, the crowd’s okay, and the connectivity isn’t bad. Campus surroundings? Pretty average. Scholarships exist, but good luck with those. Extracurricular.
