My Diploma review of GEU.
Placements: In my course, almost all students get placement opportunities. The highest package offered in my course is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys recruit students. Almost all students get internships in my course. The top role is SDE.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities in my course and department are quite good. Wi-Fi is provided to all hostelers. Labs are good, and all the systems are working. The library is good for all students. It is big and spacious, and all the books are available in it. The quality of the hostel is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is quite good. The course curriculum is not relevant at all and does not make students industry-ready. The semester exams are quite difficult. The pass percentage is above 90%.

Satisfied with the college's opportunities and teaching methods.
Placements: 60% of students got placed. The highest package is 60 LPA, the average is 4-5 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiters are Amazon, Microsoft, Meesho, and Myntra. 30% got internships in some service-based companies. The highest roles were Backend Developer, Software Engineer, and Full Stack Developer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is nice, with good labs, library, and all. Hostel rooms are good too. Food is nice, and cleanliness is maintained. The classrooms are well-ventilated, equipped, and have good facilities. Medical facilities are also available on campus and are immediately used whenever needed.
Faculty: Teachers are really good and knowledgeable. Most of the teachers have done their master's, and some are PhDs. They teach everything, and now it is on the student to work on themselves. I would rate the semester exams as 8/10, pretty easy. The passing percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose the course because I had an interest in software and the corporate industry. I wish the syllabus were updated. Events are nice, fests occur on a higher level, and the crowd is huge.

Check this before you go.
Placements: About 70% of students are placed from my course. The highest package is around 60–80 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average package is 12 LPA. The top companies are Amazon, Google, JP Morgan, and Microsoft. About 70% of students get placed in the companies mentioned above. The job roles include software development, web development, and so on.
Infrastructure: The department provides very good infrastructure and facilities. Mac labs are available along with 12–14 computer labs for the department. There is good Wi-Fi speed, smart classrooms, lecture theatres, and a big library. The hostels are comfortable, with room cleaning services, laundry, and good-quality mess food. Three canteens are available on the campus at reasonable prices, as well as an MH room for medical emergencies and a games room.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also very good. Sometimes, the Chairman himself comes and takes classes for B.Tech students as well as for BCA students. The curriculum is relevant and is also updated every year to align with the trends. It makes students industry-ready. It is not difficult to pass the exams. The pass percentage is 70%.
Other: I chose this course because it provides good exposure and learning. The best thing about my course is that the placement percentage is very high. There should be classes that focus more on average students. The events are wonderful. The campus is overcrowded. There is good connectivity and alumni interaction. A decent number of scholarships are provided for tuition fees, along with many extracurricular activities.

A most honest review from a friend who once stood where you are. Hope this helps, and good luck.
Placements: There are always forms coming, and about 500–600 students get selected. But the actual placement number is just around 90. They combine placement numbers from all campuses and show higher figures, but in reality, the total number of students in the initial batch increases to around 1000–1200. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and the maximum is 21 LPA, and that too from Infosys. In Infosys, around 170–190 students are selected for interviews. About 90 get selected, with 77 getting 7 LPA and 13 getting 11 LPA. Amazon sometimes comes for one student with a 1 LPA internship and PPO. Tech Mahindra offers around Rs. 40,000 monthly packages and expects AI projects for selection. TCS offers packages around 7–11 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure has a good number of labs and equipment, and everything is working well. A few old labs with outdated equipment need upgrading and cleaning, but the rest is good. The classrooms are fine with good seating. There is no AC in any room, except for two rooms on the ground floor, which are mainly used as meeting halls and are mostly for show. Only one classroom and one large placement classroom have AC. No other classrooms have AC. The fans are very poor, and without summer vacations, students would struggle in the heat.
Faculty: Some faculty members are very good, while some are the worst. Teachers specifically assigned for labs are mostly beginners. Only they know about the subject. The older teachers are not updated with current knowledge and struggle while teaching. The first-year teachers also lack a proper understanding. If asked to sort an array, they may not be able to. The curriculum is fine, but it is becoming outdated quickly. Almost two years are wasted without knowledge of AI and machine learning, and these are taught very late, which is not good. Semester exams are easy and good to score in.
Other: I always taken a keen interest in computers and programming since school. I studied Java, HTML, CSS, and Python. If you have internet access and a creative mind, you can grow exponentially in this field. The introduction of AI and machine learning from the second year for all courses is necessary in this new era. The food is good and affordable. There are clean places to sit, along with cafeterias. Events and fests are good, but there is a lot of politics involved.

It is good for extracurricular activities.
Placements: There is no placement at all, and we have to do an internship in the 6th semester. Even for that, the college people do not help us. We have to do it on our own. There has been no placement in this course for the last 5–6 years. They say that companies will come, but in the end, no company comes.
Infrastructure: The lab is not good in terms of animation. There are computers, but some of them work, and some do not. The software installed is not the one we need, so we have to carry our own laptop. However, we can use Wi-Fi on both our laptops and the college computers.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good, but there are two to three teachers who seem not to know the subject. They just read and leave. No one understands, and no one pays attention in class. There are also two to three teachers who teach in an interactive manner and in a way that every student can understand.

College is good for those who love to study and for those who love the fest and exams, study both.
Placements: Anyone can join our college if they have their migration certificate, 10th and 12th marksheets, etc. The highest package is 40 LPA to 50 LPA and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA to 6 LPA. Our college/university offers different companies for different departments and companies like tech, non-tech common companies like TLC, Google, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: Our campus/university and its infrastructure are well-maintained and well-mannered. Hostels are also well-maintained and they provide food to the hostel students. They provide free Wi-Fi on the campus and also in the university. Labs are also well-mannered.
Faculty: Faculty are helpful. They are qualified and knowledgeable and their teaching qualities are also good. Our course curriculum is very relevant. Students can be capable at an industry level they gain so much experience which is helpful in the industry.
Other: I chose this course because I want to go into the technical field of Computer Science. I basically want to work in the cybersecurity field so I chose this course. They organise different events fests and they also provide scholarships to the students.
