M. Pharm. (Pharmacology) - Batch of 2027
3.6
3Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
A very good government college is less expensive.
Placements: Placements are very average. Students are placed through referral from the teachers and seniors. Students are placed in different sectors like pharmacovigilance, clinical trials, Medical coding, etc. Salaries given mostly range between 30k and 35k per month. Cipla and Sunpharma are the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available all over the campus, and CCTV security is in place. There are many hostels inside the campus. Classrooms are spacious and have all the facilities like projectors and smartboards. Labs are spacious and have all the apparatus used in industry. There are many cafeteria restaurants inside the campus. There are many grounds for different sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are highly educated and experienced. They all have done their master's and Ph.D. The course curriculum is good; it makes us ready for the industry. There are two semesters in a year, and each semester has two sessions, which are conducted by the college.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2029
3.6
1Placements3Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
According to me, this college has value for money.
Placements: I recently took admission in B.Tech in ECE at GGU. My JEE CRL rank is 84000. After coming to campus, I heard from professors that there are no placements in this college. Only 2 to 5 percent of students are placed here. The highest package is 5 LPA on campus, and the lowest is Rs 90,000 per annum. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Mahindra, and Tata Steel. 50 to 60 percent of students got internships by college or outside sources. Top role is circular designer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is overall good. Wi-Fi is also available but it does not work properly. On this campus there is a central library. In hostels, the food they provide like roti is so hard and dal is fully water. One thing that is good here is snacks in the evening. The sports facility is good but not like NIT and IIT. There is one cafeteria in our college. Free medical facilities are provided by college.
Faculty: We cannot accept any help from teacher, they are not much knowledgeable in tech field. Course curriculum is overall good. Semester exam is moderate level. Minimum passing percentage is approximately 5 GPA. It is easy to score well in exams because teachers are very supportive and guide us. One thing I say, please come here only to pass the study because no other activities are happening here. We have to do everything ourselves. Here faculty members are mostly PhD scholars.
Other: I chose this course because I am not interested in tech field. The best things about this course are circuit-related things, lab activities, and practical study. Events are not held on this campus.

M.A. in Economics - Batch of 2025

My honest review of my college.
Placements: Placement records are awesome because the university placement cell brought many companies to the campus recruitment from different bodies like NGOs, multinational companies, government organisations, and private sectors as well. Normally, the company offers Rs 2,80,000 to Rs 14,00,000 package depending on the company. Companies that come here are Wipro, Infosys, L&T, Hindustan Unilever, Godrej, few pharmacy company, etc.
Infrastructure: The courses offered by the university are very good which cover all necessary subjects and topics related to the present scenario in various fields. It also organises seminars and research-related work for the students, and then they review the program to determine whether it has been successfully done or needs to be organised again. Hostels are awesome with all basic amenities, having nominal charges on a yearly basis, not more than Rs 5000. All rooms are shared on a basis of 2 persons with separate beds, chair, and table along with rake for book keeping.
Faculty: I am from commerce faculty and commerce faculty has the largest number of students in one class. There are 150 students in 1st semester only. The building of my faculty is an old building, and new building of commerce department is under construction near the Chemistry department. Teachers are good, and there is a good learning environment in my faculty.

Bachelors of Commerce (B.Com.) (Hons.) - Batch of 2029

GGV - A Considerably Good University.
Placements: Almost 70% of students were placed before my batch, but there was no mention of the packages or companies because my course isn't very popular with big companies. We are offered internships in many places every year, both online and offline.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi in all departments, and it always works. It's good, we can log in with our enrollment ID. Some classrooms are new, and some are old. We have an integrated big library named Nalanda Central Library. There is everything available, from AC to copying services. The mess food is also of good quality, and we have small Nescafés, Amul, and a separate canteen too. It's very good, and sports and games are organized every now and then in our playground.
Faculty: Teachers are very well qualified and knowledgeable, and they are very helpful too. They are some of the best ones you can get, except for the subject I chose in the education department, where I didn't have a very great experience. Otherwise, every other teacher is well qualified. The curriculum is according to NEP 2020, and they are following it very well, which makes the students industry-ready. According to my seniors, the semester exam is moderate, and the passing percentage is 40% out of 100 marks.
Other: I chose this course because I am from a commerce background and pursuing a CA course, so the subjects are relevant to me. Everything is good except that they sometimes cancel classes daily. Events, fests, crowd connectivity, and extracurricular activities are top-notch, and it's fun.

MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2029
Offered by Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences, Bilaspur

The infrastructure is a bit run-down, but manageable with good professors.
Placements: The course of MBBS from my batch is yet to have placements, but in the long run, I guess it is 100%. The package varies on the type of work you are doing, but for simple MBBS Doctors with no further studies, it will be up to 70k-1.2L. Internship is 100%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the lecture hall is fine, there is AC and a projector, so no complaints about it, where wi-fi labs and library are available. The 1st and 2nd Year hostels are really good with attached bathrooms, but the main hostel is a little bit run-down. Medical facilities are top-notch, not much sports and games are available, and the mess and canteen are okay.
Faculty: The professors are really professional at their work, and their teaching qualities are good, but it also depends on the person. It is a very relevant course curriculum, and it does make the students industry-relevant. The yearly exam is hard, with a pass percentage is 50%.

B.A. LL.B - Batch of 2030

I think it's needed reforms.
Placements: 95 percent of students are placed in our course. Not more than 10 LPA. 30 to 50 percent of students got internship with High Court of Bilaspur. I do not know about the company, I will understand the programme. Our top alumni become civil judges, advocates, junior researchers, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good, not better than good. Classroom is awesome. Library is well maintained. We got fabulous professors and scholars, and office staff. Even the guard is very protective. They scolded, but they love students. Food quality is good. 10 rupees Swabhiman Thali is good for students, we can get proper dal, bhat, sabji. Sports ground is enough, but there are no players.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable but unconvincing with scholars. They only teach all about study, not even about life. Less practical skill, only study, not guaranteed for success in life. Our first exam will be there, so I do not know about the difficulty in semester exam. I think 50% makes the students ready for the justice industry.
Other: I belong to lower middle class. I want to change my society, but why will people follow me if I gain knowledge about the Constitution. So I will definitely change it. I decided to take B.A. LL.B., including politics, which is the backbone of the country, and sociology. These are my favorite subjects, and I want more and more. If there are a meeting hall for students, they could discuss their problems with friends. Definitely, it would become the most loved department.

To pursue B.Com - LLB, you must have completed 12th with minimum 60%. Then, apply for CUET, CLAT or university specified test for getting admission in a recognised university. You must score nearly 500 marks in CUET for getting B.Com - LLB.
