Increase in JEE Main Registration 2026: Will it impact the cutoff/percentile
Many students have this doubt regarding whether increased registration can affect the percentile in JEE Mains 2026. They think that the number of increased registrations corresponds to a low percentile. But the clear answer is “NO” it does not have any negative impact on the rank or percentile.
JEE Main expected cutoff and percentile determines how a candidate has performed in the exam compared to others who appeared in the same shift, thus making the competition level tough.
Here’s how -
- More registrations mean more competition, especially to be in the list of top performers.
- Achieving 95+ percentile in JEE Main can be little tough due to increased number of applicants.
- Qualifying cutoff for JEE Mains may increase, making it tough for college admission.
