The GGSIPU "home state quota" refers to the 85% of seats reserved for students domiciled in Delhi within the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), essentially meaning that the majority of seats are allocated to students residing within the NCT Delhi region, while the remaining 15% are considered as the "All India Quota" for students from other states; this applies to most courses offered by the university, including undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Key points about the GGSIPU home state quota:Majority allocation:The majority of seats in GGSIPU are reserved for Delhi residents under the home state quota. Admission process:To avail of the home state quota, students need to provide proof of their Delhi domicile during the admission process. Entrance exams:Admission to GGSIPU is typically based on entrance exams like IPU CET, and the cutoff for the home state quota is usually lower than the All India Quota. Management quota:A small percentage of seats may be allocated as a "management quota" in some private institutions within GGSIPU.

First of all, you need to know that IITM Delhi doesn't accept the score of JEE for any of their courses. The institute offer B.Com, BCA and BBA on the basis of IPU CET entance exam. Although you can take admission at GGSIPU with a JEE mains score for B.Tech. With a rank of 7696 in JEE, you will not be able to take admission for B.Com at IITM because for that, you need to appear for IPU CET. So your JEE mains rank doesn't have any significance if you want to take admission in B.Com at IITM.

Last cut-off information on the Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) at GGSIPU.Eligibility cut-off marks into Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicines and Surgery or BAMS for admission in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is based on AYUSH entrance examination score. A student should refer a couple of years back cutoff ranks in order to estimate the approximate minimum qualifying scores for admissions. There are many reasons for change in this cut-off every year such as the level of examination difficulty, number of candidates applying for it, etc. It is suggested that General All India students refer to the Round 1 closing ranks of the previous years.

Dear Siddhanth N, Admission to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for B.Tech programmes, except Biotechnology, is based on JEE Main scores. The specific JEE Main marks required for admission vary annually due to factors like exam difficulty and seat availability. For instance, in 2024, the closing JEE Main rank for the B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning programme under the EWS category was 1,46,484.To enhance your chances of securing a seat in your desired programme at GGSIPU, it is advisable to aim for a higher JEE Main score. Regularly checking the official GGSIPU admissions website for the latest cut-off information will also be beneficial.Best regards, Ankit.
