Total Seats in IIMs: The Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) provides management education across the country. India has a total of 21 IIMs offering around 5500 seats in MBA/PGDM courses. Total seats in IIM can change annually; however, it typically remains in a specified ratio across different categories, including OBC, SC/ST, General, etc. As per the IIM reservation policy, major part of the total intake is reserved for different categories leaving the general category seats for all aspirants. Total no of seats in IIMs have a reservation for OBC, SC, ST, and other categories.
As per the tentative IIM seat intake, nearly 800 seats are belong to students under OBC categories, whereas, SC/ST categories hold a reservation of 500+ IIM seats. Remaining reserved category seats at IIMs are filled by EWS and PwD categories, with PwD having a horizontal reservation.

Candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme at IIM Raipur must meet the overall and section-wise CAT percentile. According to cut-off details of IIM Raipur for the year 2023, candidates having overall and section-wise CAT percentile equal to or above 90 were eligible for admission to the MBA programme.
Hence, students are advised to give equal importance to all the sections, i.e. verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC), data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR) and quantitative aptitude (QA) while preparing for the CAT exam to get eligible for admission to the MBA programme at IIM Raipur.
The Indian Institute of Management Kashipur accepts CAT 2023 scores for MBA admission 2024. IIM Kashipur cutoff 2023 is yet to be release for the next academic session. As per the previous year cutoff, IIM Kashipur overall CAT percentile was 93 for the General ALL India category candidates. So, basis the previous year data, candidates expecting a call from the institute must secure more than 93 CAT percentile.
