A great place for academic growth.

Faculty: Faculty and teachers of the college are good. They are like friends, very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching style is excellent, as students learn everything, and they clear all doubts at any point in time.

G B Plant Engineering College: Once a renowned technical college, it is slowly turning into runs.

Faculty: Here, faculty members are the only advantage of this college, all are UPSC qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams are not very tough, and much of the course curriculum is relevant. Currently, the passing percentage is 40 percent. Teachers here are very helpful.

This college is a big regret of every student, poor placements, poor campus infrastructure.

Faculty: Some faculty members are good, but there are many teachers that are there to hold you back. I have seen teachers failing students based on personal grudges. Curriculum which we are provided with is never followed, practical training for hands-on experience on industry equipment is poor as no equipment is as good as they should be. Exam dates are according to the college, the year planner which we are provided with is not followed, timetable changes around 2/3 times in a week. Exams are not very ...

Absolutely dissatisfied with placement, infrastructure, facilities of GB Plant Engineering College.

Faculty: Teachers often lack industry skills and use old notes. The curriculum is outdated and not industry-ready. Students self-study. Exams are typical University-level tough, designed to increase re-enrollment (backlogs). The pass percentage is typically 70 percent. Exams are not planned through a calendar but taken whenever.

Campus size is too small, but placements and college are decent.

Faculty: Teachers teach well and no classes get cancelled. Teachers do their job sincerely and come on time to class. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students ready for the industry, and opportunities are there. Overall, it is average, and most students pass.

Infra needs to get better. Rest college is good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, but not that knowledgeable. Teaching quality is okay, the course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Passing the exam is very easy, checking marks are very easy, and you can easily score well just by learning the night before.

MIST is simply the NIT of GSSIPU.

Faculty: The faculty varies a lot depending on your batch. I unfortunately have a very soul-crushing set of teachers. A few of them are good, but you can count them on two fingers. The syllabus is easy for the most part. You can easily cover your entire syllabus by yourself.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty.

Faculty: Teachers are not helpful. Maybe they are qualified, but they always shout about small topics or things related to students. One of my teachers motivated me in a viva. Because I was not able to answer one question. She said you will fail, and let's meet next year also with your back.

Faculty: There are great teachers. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Other teachers help students in every condition, like during off-time. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. It directly pushes students into industry, like tech world companies, startups, etc. Exams are neither tough nor easy. Exams are normal. The pass percentage is 40 percent. Faculty members are available for students.

Overall good, providing a good environment for industry-ready jobs.

Faculty: All the faculty members are very supportive and knowledgeable. There is some strictness regarding attendance. Teachers are willing to clear doubts and also help individuals, and maintain decent teacher-student interaction. Semester exams are a little bit tough. You have to study better for this.

Faculty: The BBA curriculum is strongly bound with GGSIPU norms, which sometimes feel too theoretical for batch 2023-26 and previous ones also, but teachers are highly qualified and very supportive towards students. If you study from the provided notes, then you can pass easily.

The infrastructure is of a school type.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and PhD holders. They have theoretical knowledge, but practical or industrial knowledge might be lacking. The CSE course curriculum is slightly similar, but we have to develop skills by ourselves because it is more theoretical. It is helpful if we are preparing for GATE CSE or ISRO CSE. Semester exams are easy if we start studying 20 days before. The Pass percentage is more than 95 percent. In internal marks, out of 40, we can get more than 32 marks easily.

Faculty: Faculty is qualified on paper, but not so good at actually teaching. We're taught a few subjects in the first year that would be useless in our field. Course curricula are outdated and need some changes. Exams aren't very difficult and are quite easy to pass.
