Great staff and caring faculty, and a pretty decent college.

Placements: Very big companies come for placements, but the number of students they pick is low compared to our expectations. Big tech companies pick 2 to 3 students, and the maximum is around 6 students by a single company. It's not bad, but I expect a bit higher number of students to get picked up by companies.

Infrastructure: For my course BCA, the main thing is labs, and those are good. Good PCs with good specs help us do our work pretty easily. The labs are fully air-conditioned, which helps the environment stay cool and comfortable. Classrooms are good, but the main thing is that our mobiles don't get signal, and the classroom Wi-Fi works sometimes and sometimes does not work. For sports, we have a sports complex that is a bit far, but it has a large play area and offers different types of sports.

Faculty: The college is very strict regarding exams, assignments, presentations, attendance, and every other thing. If we miss deadlines, if our attendance drops low, or if we do not come to college for 2 to 3 days, they first warn or contact the students, and if this continues, they contact the parents to inform them about the behavior or check if the parents are aware or not.

Other: The crowd is good and friendly, and the area near the college is average. However, the mode of transport from our college to different locations is pretty good.

Experience of MBBS at VMMC and SJH.

Placements: This college is considered one of top medical colleges in India, and rightly so. The teaching faculty is genuinely very good. They make lectures feel more lively and interactive. The clinical exposure is probably the best, as it has one of the most populated hospitals with a large number of patients.

Infrastructure: Facilities in the college building are decent. There is centralised AC in all the lecture theatres. However, the hostel accommodation is average. You can install your own AC in the hostel room, which may not be allowed in other colleges. This is very convenient. However, the campus size is questionable, as it is very small except for the hospital.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in guiding students. They teach important concepts. They are very good at sticking to relevant topics in the curriculum. Teaching helps students become prepared for practical work in field. The exams are moderate to easy in difficulty. Most of the questions are from the main topics.

Other: I personally chose this course because I wanted to become a doctor. No one in my family was a doctor. The best thing about the course is how much new information you learn every time. You also learn how things actually work at the ground level in a hospital. The things I wish would improve are the campus size and extracurricular activities.

Placements: Our batch has 65 students in total across four branches, which include CSE, AIML, CST, and IT. Apart from these, there are 55 students studying at MAIT. Around 30% of students get placed in our course. MNCs are among the top recruiters. The highest package is 15 LPA, and many students also get placed off campus with the highest package of 27 LPA. Recruiters include Infosys, IBM, Intellipaat, iEnergizer, Bizgurukul, and Devtalks, among others. There are around 55 recruiters from Bengaluru, Gurgaon, and Noida. No internships are offered by the college.

Infrastructure: Our campus provides neat and clean classrooms with centralized AC and Wi-Fi access. There is a single lift for both students and faculty members. The campus has an excellent library and a digital library. The building has five floors, with a nice canteen in the basement. Computer labs, an AI lab, an electronics lab, a mechanical lab, a chemistry lab, a common student room, and sports facilities are available. Sports facilities include a football ground, volleyball ground, basketball court, and tennis court. Indoor games facilities are provided in the basement, including table tennis, carrom, and a badminton court. The college does not provide hostel facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, polite, supportive, well-behaved, and highly qualified. They help students a lot and motivate them to do well in life. The course curriculum is relevant and provides technical knowledge. It is not difficult to pass the end-semester exams, but passing the mid-semester exams is quite difficult. The passing percentage is 78%.

Other: In my opinion, there is no campus crowd. The campus infrastructure could be better to increase admissions. A high-level fest with concerts should be organized on campus to make students excited. There should also be some strictness to make the campus surroundings look more like a proper campus with a large crowd.

Placements: About 70 percent of the eligible students were placed in Infosys, ZS Associates, Swiggy, and Juspay for roles like data science, digital specialist engineer, software developer, and software engineer. The highest package is 63 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 6 to 7 LPA. About 50 percent of the students got internships in startups.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. Labs are equipped with good software and hardware. Classrooms are decent with AC, and the library is spacious and has both course books and computers. There is no hostel facility on campus; students take nearby PGs or flats within 1 to 2 km of the college that cost about 12,000 per month.

Faculty: The faculty is very supportive and knowledgeable, and also approachable after classes. Teaching quality is decent. The course curriculum has a balanced mix of modern and old technologies, though students need to take up extra courses to become industry-ready. Semester exams have moderate difficulty, and it requires a minimum of 33 percent to pass.

Other: I chose B.Tech in CS because of placements, and the best thing is that we can choose our own career path. They need to include the latest AI and technologies. There is Jashn-e-Freshers and GATES, the campus crowd is decent, connectivity is top-notch, the campus surrounding area is safe, and the college provides state scholarships.

Placements: Placements are average, with over 75% of students getting placed in law and corporate sectors. For litigation, first-generation lawyers may face challenges initially. However, success is possible with hard work and getting shortlisted. Multinational companies often visit the campus. They conduct interviews for students from B.Tech, law, B.A., and BBA courses.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average but manageable. The buildings are aesthetic, and students can often take pictures in front of the mirror-like building. There is a game pool, a basketball court, and a ground with a hill where students can sit and relax. The canteen is good. Washrooms are available on every floor. Overall, the campus is nice.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and smart. They have diverse subject knowledge. The teaching is relevant to the curriculum and includes PSDA activities. The semester exams are easy to clear. They are not difficult for an average student, even with a week of preparation. I personally score a CGPA of over 9 with just a week of preparation.

Placements: Student placement is pretty average. Roughly 50% of students get on-campus placements. The TNP cell does not make enough effort to bring companies on board. However, some students secure good off-campus placements on their own. There are no good internship opportunities either.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are good enough and air-conditioned. There are smart boards in every classroom. The library is huge and has a good number of books. There is no Wi-Fi on campus, which is a big issue. Labs are available, but some labs do not have computers. Overall, the infrastructure is good.

Faculty: Teachers are well educated and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also okay. The course curriculum is updated and has an up-to-date syllabus. There are two minor exams and one major exam in each semester. The exams are neither too difficult nor too easy. They are somewhere in between.

Other: I chose this college because of its location, good crowd, and regular events.
