Yes, there are scholarships for the Scheduled Caste Category students at Gurugram University. The university offers the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme of GOI for the welfare of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste Category. As per letter No.3/44-2012 Sch. (2) dated 18.06.2013 of the Director General Higher Education, Haryana, Panchkula, students, whose parents/guardian income is up to INR 2.50 lakh per annum, are eligible for the scholarship.

The scholarship offers students include enrollment/registration, tuition, games, union, library, magazine, Medical Examination, and such other fees compulsorily payable by the student to the institution or University/Board. Refundable deposits like caution money, and security deposits are, however, excluded. For students admitted under this scheme, the application form has to be submitted by the students to the concerned Chairperson/Director of the Department/ Institute.

The Gurugram University offers scholarships to its students to keep them motivated for higher studies and help them with the hurdles coming in the way. The below-mentioned are the conditions for the scholarship:

Scholarship A -Full Tuition Fee Concessions to deserving students on recommendation of the Chairperson of the Departments and approval of the Vice Chancellor who fulfill the following conditions-

• Someone whose family income is less than 2.5 Lacs per annum student has to submit valid income certificate/affidavit).
• Someone whose attendance is not less than 75% (on the date application is recommended).
• Someone who have passed all the previous examinations of concerned course.
• Someone whose one of the parents unfortunately demised during the session.

*It cannot exceed total of 10% intake.

Scholarship B - Following concessions to the wards/spouses of Gurugram University employees who die in harness shall be entitled to the:

• Full Tuition fee concession.
• Development fee concession - 3/4th

Scholarship C-

• 50% concession of total fee (except examination fee) to the University employee and their dependents (sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, spouse, who is/are not working and is/are fully dependent on him/her and living with him/her) may be allowed in all programmes (Except Ph.D. Programme) in the University Teaching Departments.
• 50% Tuition Fee concession to only girl child of parents without any male child at U.G and P.G. level.
• Waive off full tuition fee for the students who lost their both parents in COVID pandemic and BPL category candidates.

The fees to be payable to Gurugram University is different for different courses. The range of the fee is INR 4k - INR 2.82 lakh. Taking admissions into most popular courses in Gurugram University like MBA and BTech costs INR 2.8 Lacs – INR 5 lakhs for MBA and INR 4.27 Lacs – INR 10.57 lakh for BTech.
