HNGU admissions are based on merit and scores of entrance exams. The accepted entrance exams are CAT,  CMAT,  GUJCET, and ACPC Admission. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the MBA course is grduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Whereas, the average package during HNGU placements was INR 4 LPA in 2024.

Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University admissions commences with an online application process. After submitting the HNGU application form online, candidates will be shortlisted. For final admission, shortlisted candidates must pay the fees as suggested by the University, with the respect to the course of choice and confirm the seat. 

 HNGU organises various extracurricular activities for students. In the past, the university has arranged the below-mentioned competitions:

• Inter College Weight Lifting-Power Lifting Competition (Men & Women)
• Inter College Volleyball Competition (Men & Women)

The next CMAT exam will be held in January 2026. The NTA will start registration for the same in November 2025. Those interested in appearing for the exam are required to register for it at CMAT-NTA website and fill the online application form. The score of CMAT will be valid for one year only, so if you appear for CMAT 2026, you must take admission in the same academic year.

Apart from 1300 B-schools, the CMAT score is also valid for admission through MAH CET CAP. The Maharashtra State CET Cell conducts MBA/MMS admissions for 300 colleges in the state. It is followed by a common counselling process called CAP. CMAT test takers can also participate in MAH MBA CET CAP and secure a seat in MBA/MMS course offered by over 300 colleges in Maharashtra.

Yes, definitely, candidates can easily get admission to HNGU at a rank of 20000. Considering the HNGU last-round cutoff 2024, the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) cutoff stood at, 32061 which is far more than 20k rank. So, it is possible, surely. The placement activities are individually organised by all the departments of HNGU. According to the NIRF report 2023, during HNGU placements 2022, the median package offered to UG (5-year) and PG (2-year) students was INR 1.90 LPA and INR 1.60 LPA, respectively.
