For admission under these categories, candidates are required to submit the relevant documents. Hence, the caste certificate issued by a competent authority can be asked for verification. NLU Shimla has 120 seats for its BA LLB (Hons) programme. The seat allotment is done based on CLAT scores. NLU Shimla offers admission to BA LLB (Hons) course based on merit in the CLAT exam. Candidates who have passed Class 12 with a 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST) can apply. The eligible candidates can go to the CLAT official website to register and apply for the exam. After the entrance test, the cutoff marks are announced based on which students need to participate in CLAT counselling. After seat allotment, the candidates need to report at HPNLU Shimla campus and pay admission fee for seat confirmation.
