Merit in the last qualifying examination and performance in entrance tests at the national level form the criteria for admission to IIHMR University for 2025. However, for Bachelors performances alone, it requires a minimum aggregate of 50%. Class 12 marks will not be sufficient as an eligibility criterion; candidates have to meet bachelor's degree and entrance exam requirements. Those not coming through national-level test appear to Institute for Health Management and Research, Jaipur by conducting their own entrance test, plus GD and PI rounds for MBA programmes.

Eligible candidates would have a selection process which comprises a group discussion (GD) followed by personal interview (PI). A selection on basis of scoring the following national entrance tests or their aggregate or IIHMR- MAT /CMAT; CAT / XAT/ NMAT, along with scoring marks from GD and PI are followed to decide for selection. During personal interviews, original documents need to be produced to authenticate it at the venue of interviews.
