The college is good, but again it is based towards faculty members or based on the management.

Placements: It's so unpredictable that it looks as if the companies replaced technical tests with lucky draws when they enter the IIITDM campus. Almost around 20 students will be placed in companies and offering the decent package, but willing to visit on short notice and in the periods around March- April.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the buildings are too far. You will eat two more chapatis, but the environment is very friendly. Also, there are too many wild animals like the leopard. I am saying leopards, but there are many other animals too, but, the college takes care of them.

Faculty: It follows the curriculum of IIT Kanpur. The course curriculum is very hectic. There are lots of projects and quiz. You will have to attend classes regularly. Also, there will be lots of workshops so that you will have lots of learning in your B.Tech or M.Tech career.

Other: It is a good college.

This institute is the best for studies and other activities. It is a real heaven for the students.

Placements: The CSE and ECE placements are better than the others. In CSE, the average package offered is Rs. 8 lakhs per annum. In ECE, the average package offered is Rs. 6 lakhs per annum. Many companies such as Infosys, Mahindra and Amazon have come for the placements every year. The placement depends on the student's performance. The maximum package offered in the CSE branch is Rs. 36 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure: The institute's infrastructure is the best. It is spread across 300 acres. The lecture hall has full AC. There are six hostels on the institute's campus and are called as Hall 1, Hall 3, Hall 4, Hall 5, Hall 6 and Hall 7. But three hostels are open for the students which are Hall 1, Hall 3 and Hall 4. There is a sports club for cricket, basketball, volleyball and football which are the outdoor games and chess carrom, etc., are the indoor games. There are two central mess, mess 1 and mess 2. There are large lecture halls and labs. The Wi-Fi facility and LAN facility are available in the hostels.

Faculty: There are many faculty members from different courses. There are faculty members from IITs and foreign universities as well. There are three engineering departments in the institution which are electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science engineering and also the design department. There is a research department as well. The institution collaborated with Japan. In the PhD department, research is available. The faculty is the best in the institute.

Other: It is an institute of national importance. The institute is affiliated to the ministry of human resources and development. Institute NIRF ranking is 69th all over India. Every year, the admission to the institute is by JEE-mains. According to the rank, the admission in IIIT-Jabalpur is by Jossa counselling. There are three fests in the institute including the gusto sports fest, the tarang cultural fest and the abhikalpan tech fest in every year. Here, many club sessions are there for extra activities.
