The new style of education with IMU Visakhapatnam.

Faculty: All the teachers are assistant professors, and some of the teachers are guest lecturers. They are well knowledgeable about this course. They clear all the doubts. The curriculum of the course mainly focuses on management and the core (Maritime logistics). Subjects are a little hard but okay, and with the help of lectures, we can easily understand. For each semester, 3 exams are conducted. There are mainly 2 exams for internal, and the last exam is the main exam. In the last 2 semesters, there ha...

It’s really good because it is apprenticeship-embedded

Faculty: The best thing about this place is its faculty members. They are very helpful and down to earth, you can call them and ask any doubts, it’s like that. On the other hand, the curriculum of the course is superb, and it makes students industry-ready. The passing percentage is around 80% on average because the exams are a little bit difficult

College is overall good, but needs more attention from the public and government.

Faculty: The faculty members are good and helpful, especially when it comes to studies and assignments, which are beneficial for the course. There are different subjects to learn, especially about the shipping course. They teach all the required documents related to the shipping sector. Also, they take students on an industrial trip to seaports, which is really good to learn hands-on experience.

Decent and affordable option to study Naval Architecture.

Faculty: Faculty is really helpful. The only thing is you need to approach them and put yourself out there. The course is quite difficult. The terms and concepts might be foreign to students from non-maritime backgrounds. Take your projects seriously.

Amazing environment for those who are interested in academics.

Faculty: Here, the teachers are very helpful, and all the faculty members have done Ph.D.s in their respective subjects. We have our schedule for the whole semester, and we all follow it. During that time, we are not allowed to go anywhere else without the permission of the faculty members and warden. We can ask any questions related to subjects by visiting the respective faculty. According to me, this course is very relevant as it makes a student industry-ready and also helps students build new skills a...

A tour to the IMU, Visakhapatnam SMM campus.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and helpful for academic issues. The curriculum is relevant, and continuous changes are being made in order to introduce new courses related to the field. Talking about the semester exams, it is not very difficult if the individual regularly follows the lectures and goes through the notes before the exams.

The best college for people interested in ship construction. The best for placements.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The course syllabus is relevant, and it makes the students ready for the industry. The semester exams are not that easy, but everyone cracks them. The first two semesters cover basic engineering subjects, which are taught in other colleges.

"It is a good campus with lots of things to explore ". .

Faculty: At present there is a deficiency of faculty members so there are few visiting faculty members while all the faculty members are highly educated and qualified. There is an easy curriculum set with regard to the field and industry. The faculty members are very helpful and can be approached any time. The student to faculty ratio is only 1:36.

A college that will sail you through the voyage of learning with fun. Contented with the facilities.

Faculty: The course curriculum has been well designed by the experienced teachers from across India in this field. The faculty who are teaching here are renowned all over. Most of them are well qualified, but a few of them remain as contract faculty which at times tends to affect the quality of the education. But they are knowledgeable enough. The teachers use the conventional methods of books, lecture, notes and also modern methods like PPTs. Also, a sufficient number of industrial visits are organised ...

Absolutely satisfied with faculty members and good experience.

Faculty: Faculty members are strict. But if you behave good in class, you could easily pass the internal exam. You could do well with the help of the faculty in exams. I am happy to study under those great people. Once again, this college has great people as faculty.

Good infrastructure, good placements in 2017, dissatisfied because of the campus area

Faculty: Teachers of all the subjects are highly educated, quality are good but for new students who come from outside the ANDHRA Pradesh they might get some difficulty in starting due to pronunciation of faculty members after that everyone will be quite okay. Yaa its relevant as growing of goods transportation this department muat requires in future, yes it makes the students industry ready.
