Both the AP LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. AP LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. AP LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, AP LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. CLAT generally covers the deeper aspects of the particular subject. 

Private schools like Jindal Global Law School are excellent but often come with much higher tuition fees. IIULER provides a similar global standard of education and international exposure but at a relatively more accessible fee structure because of its semi-government backing. While Jindal has a larger student body, IIULER offers a more tight-knit community and a direct connection to the regulatory body of the legal profession in India.

Local government colleges are affordable but often struggle with outdated syllabi and lack of campus placements. Starting early in the course, IIULER BA LLB (Hons.) students are encouraged to participate in Moot Courts, which are mock trials that simulate real courtroom environments.
