IIULER Goa Admission 2026: Courses, Eligibility and Selection Process, Application Process

No, students generally cannot take direct, entrance-exam-free admission to IIULER Goa for its flagship programs, as it now admits students primarily through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).

IIULER offers 132 (120 + 12 for EWS) seats for the BA LLB (Hons.) program, including category reservations. The university keeps the batch sizes relatively small on purpose. This ensures a low teacher-student ratio, allowing faculty members to provide personalised attention to every student.

IIULER Goa offers two UG courses BA LLB and BBA LLB. These courses are five year long integrated courses. Candidates applying to these courses should have passed Class 12 with atleast 45% aggregate score. The selection is done based on CLAT exam scores.

Candidates applying to PG courses at IIULER Goa should have an LL.B. Degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/NRI categories. Students should clear the cutoff in CLAT PG exam.

Candidates who score 60% and above in CLAT are eligible for various levels of tuition fee reduction as follows:

• AIR 1 to 5,000 in CLAT: The adjusted tuition fee is Rs. 4.2 Lacs for the first year, with a total annual fee of INR 7.2 lakh.
• AIR 5,001 to 10,000 in CLAT: The adjusted tuition fee is INR 4.5 Lacs for the first year, with a total annual fee of INR 7.4 lakh.
• AIR 10,001 to 15,000 in CLAT: The adjusted tuition fee is INR 4,76,750 for the first year, is INR 32.3 lakh.
• AIR 15,001 to 20,000 in CLAT: The adjusted tuition fee is INR 5.04 Lacs for the first year, with a total annual fee of INR 8 lakh.
• AIR 20,001 to 30,000 in CLAT: The adjusted tuition fee is INR 5.6 Lacs for the first year, with a total annual fee of INR 8.5 lakh.

Yes, IIULER offers scholarship and seat reservation to students belonging from Goa.

• Goa students for UG who are not eligible to avail scholarship under the Scholarship Scheme will be given 40% of fee waiver in the regular tuition fee. 
• 20% of the total seats are reserved for students of Goa.
