The Indian Institute of Teacher Education (IITE) was established in the year 2010 located in Gandhinagar of Gujarat. It was accredited by NCTE, NAAC. The various courses offered are under undergraduate Program BA + B.Ed with 100 seats, B.Ed with 50 seats, B.Ed + M.Ed with 50 seats, and B.Sc.+ B.Ed with 100 seats. Under the postgraduate program, they offer MA + M.Ed with 50 seats, M.Ed with 50 seats, and MSc + M.Ed with 50 seats. The faculty to student ratio is 1:15. Shree Kireet Joshi Library, the Central Library of IITE. The library has been well-equipped with comfortable furniture and amenities like internet, photocopying facility, E-books for students and teachers, etc. The hostel students can avail themselves of many amenities like a playground, medical consultant, free wi-fi, hot water facility, etc.

Indian Institute of Teacher Education Courses and Fee 2022
They offer a variety of courses to its students in both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level and Research levels. Indian Institute of Teacher Education Admission 2022
The college conducts the i3T-Integrated Test for Teacher Trainee for admission to all courses. The admission cycle will be usually conducted during May-June of every year. The application process will be purely online. Their admission will be based on the merit list of marks obtained in the i3T entrance test.
Note: As of now the admission process for the academic year 2021-22 has been fully closed for all university courses. The admission process for the academic year 2022-23 will start from June 2022. Whenever their admission starts that will be uploaded on their website.

Indian Institute of Teacher Education Scholarships 2022
Scholarships will be available only for selected courses (BSc B.Ed) of students. The top five rank scorers in the entrance test will get the opportunity to avail scholarship i.e., waiving their tuition fees. However, the candidates should pay the rest of the amount of this fee to secure admission. In Gujarat, the student will be eligible for the provision of the student’s Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme which will be provided to the family from a specific income and the student should be a resident of Gujarat.

UG Degree (4 year) : In year 2017-18, for 4 year UG Degree, a total of 82 students were admitted at Indian Institute of Teacher Education and 81 completed their graduation in 2020-21. Out of 81 students 1 were placed with median salary of INR 376080 and 55 students opted for higher studies. A total of 90 students were admitted in year 2018-19 for 4 year UG degree at Indian Institute of Teacher Educationand 87 completed their graduation in 2021-22. Out of 87 students 2 were placed with median salary of INR 376080 and 68 students opted for higher studies. PG Degree (3 year) : In year 2018-19, for 3 year PG Degree, a total of 15 students were admitted at Indian Institute of Teacher Education and 14 completed their graduation in 2020-21. Scholarships are available for B.Sc., B. E.D. and B.A. students in the Social welfare department of the University.
University has also made a provision to provide scholarship for having highest merit of the first 5 admitted candidates in the form of waiver of tuition fees to the student in the manner prescribed as under;
The candidates who have attained highest score in the Final Merit List of the Entrance Test shall be considered as eligible for getting University Scholarship.
There will be 5 scholarship awards in the form of waiver of Tuition Fees for the eligible students who will be given admission to B.Sc.B.Ed. and B.A.B.Ed. courses of the university only. However, the candidate is liable to pay all the other fees as prescribed in the brochure for securing the admission.
