Excellent placement and campus life at TMI.

Placements: About 85% to 90% of students from our batch get placed through campus placement. The highest package offered is 15-20 LPA. The average package is around 6 to 8 LPA, and the lowest package is around 4 to 5 LPA, depending on the company and course. Top recruiters include Anglo Eastern, Synergy, and Fleet Management. Most students also receive internship opportunities.

It's a very good college. It shows you the real world and trains you for it.

Placements: Almost 70 percent of students are already placed and it's just our 1st year. The highest packages are up to 2000 dollars and the lowest are up to 600 dollars for starting cadets. Some top companies, such as Carnival, Zodiac, and Chevron visit our college. This course offers very high-paying roles such as chief engineer.

The best placement college in particular.

Placements: See, over the last 2-3 years, our previous batches have 90-100% placement results. The current 4th year batch (2022) has 40 students, and from them, 18 to 20 are placed. Salary is decided on the type of vessel, like if you sail on an LNG tanker, it will be the highest for a trainee marine engineer, something around 6-8 LPA. The lowest you can get is 2-3 LPA, and the median salary offered will be 4-5.5 LPA. In our IMU MPC campus, companies like M.Sc. Anglo Eastern, feet, Synergy, MOL, Dynacom, Pa...

One of India’s best Merchant Navy colleges with high placements and expert faculty.

Placements: 97 percent of students of the last batch are placed. Before that, the placement rate is around 96 percent, and before that it is 90–94 percent, so that means it is always increasing. In the Merchant Navy, there is no fixed package; there is a rank-based fixed salary and stipend is different. The stipend in companies like NYK varies between $400–500. In Chevron, it is above $500. In Dyna Gas, it is $1200. In Wallem, it is $500. In BW, it is $600. These are the stipends of a few companies. But aft...

Best to start your maritime career.

Placements: About 90 percent of students are placed in our course. The average package varies from company to company as it depends on our ranks. Top recruiting companies are Chevron, NYK, STENA, and BW. Most of the students get placed, and all companies on this campus are excellent.

The best college I have seen ever in my life.

Placements: Placements are very good. According to the previous year’s record, more than 80% got placed. There are a lot of big companies like MOL, Maersk, M.Sc., etc., coming to TMI. Many students from TMI are serving as captains in the merchant navy.

To get admission to the university, you must clear the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMUCET) exam held every year. Indian citizens are not eligible for direct admission, and they cannot get the application form from the Mumbai campus of the Indian Maritime University.
