B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2019

Absolutely satisfied with faculty, infrastructure but dissatisfied with transport management.
Placements: Our university invites medium scale companies mainly from Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula and Hoshiarpur. The placement drives are organised to hire students from the departments like computer science, mechanical and management. The companies like Idea Foundation, CS Infotech, Itronix Solution and Web Astral, etc., visited the campus from the IT domain. Around 9-10 students were placed from our batch. The salary package offered was about 2 LPA. The post for which students were hired were a programmer, software engineer, and HR etc. The stipend offered to students was about Rs. 5,000-6,000. The college also has a placement cell.
Infrastructure: The college provides the Wi-Fi facility, and we also have a lot of computer labs. There is a library with more than 2,000 books, and we also have a medical department to take care of students' medical needs. A sports area and park are also available here. All the labs and classrooms are well cleaned. The quality of the food offered is not that good. Hostel rooms are average, but we have a sports area. I didn't face any issues regarding the infrastructure of the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very intelligent and qualified. They are punctual and solve students' problems whenever needed. Teachers teach with the help of both blackboard and projector. Teacher to student ratio is 1:3. They conducted various industrial visits to CS Infotech, Web Astral and many others. The course curriculum was useful.
Other: Various cultural events are organised in our university like techno fest, freshers' party, Baisakhi fest and many more.
