The institution offers BTech, MTech, Certificate, and PhD degrees. Admission to this offered programme is determined on the results of national entrance tests, such GATE and JEE Main. Additionally, candidates need to take part in the JoSAA and CSAB counselling process. The BTech and M.Tech programmes are the main offerings of IIIT Pune. Not alone will a JEE Main score above 75% in PCM subjects get the admission to IIIT Bangalore. The primary consideration of IIIT Bangalore for admission is the rank in the JEE Main, and the candidate must have to secure certain cutoff ranks according to his desired programs. Also, the candidates should have qualification criteria, that is, they should have passed in their 10th and 12th grades with at least 60% marks on an average. So a good score would be good, but should be aligned with the cutoff ranks given by the institution for admitting students.
