IIIT Bangalore Cutoff 2026: Check JEE Main Category-wise Closing Ranks

Candidates who have passed a UG degree of a minimum of three-years in any discipline with a first division/ class from a recognised university are eligible to apply for IIIT Bangalore MSc. Aspirants must also have a valid score in CAT, CEED, CUCET or TISS NET for exemption from written test conducted by IIIT Bangalore.

For IIITB PG Diploma admission, candidates should have a valid Bachelor's or an equivalent degree in science/engineering/business administration/commerce/mathematics/computer applications or a Master’s degree in mathematics/statistics/commerce with at least 50% aggregate. 

This aggregate is as per past records and can vary. Student should have passed the qualifying exam from a recognised university. The degree course mark sheets along with other documents have to be presented for verification purposes.

International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bangalore offers a five-year integrated BTech-MTech course. To be eligible for the integrated course, candidates must have a first-class pass in Class 12 or equivalent exam with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Aspirants also need to qualify JEE Main exam. 

The institute does not offer any reservation under management quota. BTech and MTech courses have a combined total of 60 seats. Mentioned seat count is according to the official website. It may change and hence, is indicative. 

The IIIT Bangalore JEE Main cutoff 2026 for round 3 ranged from 4969 to 7027 for the General AI category. As per this range, Computer Science and Engineering was the toughest branch for admission. This branch had the round 3 cutoff of 4969.

The GATE cutoff is the minimum mark that an aspirant needs to score to be eligible for admission to M.Tech, M.Sc. And Ph.D. courses offered at the participating institutes. The difficulty level of the GATE question paper. The number of candidates taking the paper. The total number of available seats. The marks obtained by the aspirants. Category under which the candidate is seeking admission. 

Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent pass with first class and studied Mathematics as one of the subjects can apply for IIIT Bangalore BTech programme. Aspirants must hold the documents relevant to their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

CGPA is different for each category. For General/EWS and OBC-NCL category, the required CGPA is 6.5 on a 10-point scale, which is 60%. While, for SC/ST and PwD, required CGPA is 6.0 on a 10-point scale, which is 55%.
