IIIT kalyani would be a better option. Depending upon rank, faculty and performance based on placements and all I will prefer you go to IIIT kalyani. Also it would be near to your home and it provides a good exposure. So best of luck.

No, IIIT Hyderabad is not like any other government institute. Its a semi private university and one of premier institutes in India. There is no reservation in any part of system.
