Common Admission is a national-level MBA entrance exam to get admission into Indian B-Schools. CAT registration takes place in August and it ends in September. Usually, admit cards are released in October and the exam takes place in November every year. Results are declared by January. Based on CAT results, students can apply to multiple B-Schools.

Jagannath University will release its admission cutoff based on the entrance examination it conducts, the Jagan Nath University Entrance Test (JUEE) or the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), whichever is applicable for your program. The university will then release its own cutoff list on its official website. 

The University has disclosed the median package details in the NIRF report 2023. Over the past three years of placements (2020 to 2022), an improving trend was recorded in all the courses, except PG (1-year) courses, for which the median package has been fluctuating. Of all the courses, UG (3-year) courses recorded the highest number of students placed during the 2022 drive. Specific placement data for BSc specialisations is not released yet. Science students from 3-year UG courses such as BSc have seen a median package of INR 3.05 LPA, as per the 2022 report. Students pursuing popular BSc specialisations such as Agriculture, Forensic Science, and Biotechnology are likely to benefit from growing industry demand and practical exposure.
