Q:   Will NEET 2024 be delayed?
    A:

NEET 2024 was conducted on May 5, 2024. NTA announced the exam date on September 19, approximately eight months in advance. NTA has decided the exam date after much deliberation and assessing situations such as Board exam schedule, other exams, etc. Over the past few years, NEET exam date was delayed owing to the pandemic situation, which affected the overall academic calendar. To bring back normalcy, NTA conducted NEET UG 2024 in May, similar to the pre-pandemic era after much brainstorming and assessing other entrance exam dates. Howrver, NEET 2024 will be reconducted on June 23, 2024, for 1,563 candidates who were given grace marks. The Supreme Court of India has asked NTA not to delay the admission process. Hence, NTA will release the result of the retest on June 30, 2024, and the counselling process will begin in July 2024.

Overall, Jai Narayan University is the best university in Jodhpur. Highly recommended for UG and PG.
Placements: About Jai Narayan University, it is really great. It was established in 1962. Actually, I was in the B.A. stream, so we don't have placement companies. In B.Sc. and B.A. streams, companies came for placements and offered high packages like 4-7 LPA. Even one of my friends got a placement from CIPLA Pharmaceuticals.
Infrastructure: Yes! Hostel ambiance is fantastic. We had a lot of things to do there, like a really big ground for playing multiple games, a running track, a basketball court, and many more things to do. There is also a library to read books and invest more time in studies. The quality of rooms is average, but the quality of food is good.
Faculty: Teachers were really helpful; they're highly qualified and knowledgeable. Yes! The fine art teachers were really great; they teach very well and pay attention to every student and take care of their art and sketch. Semester exams are not so tough, but if you learn the whole, you can clear every paper or exam.
Other: I chose arts because I want to learn history and fine art. We had multiple fests in college like YUVARANG, which was the welcome party for freshers. Some artists came to college for concerts and music fests. We also had some cultural fests.

It is a good college at low fees but the level of education is not good.
Placements: Companies didn't visit our college to offer placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was average. Wi-Fi, labs, and digital classrooms were not available. It had a library with few books. Each student can borrow 3 books from the library. There were no proper seating arrangements in classrooms. Washrooms were not cleaned and the garden was not well-maintained. Drinking water provided was not clean.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were well-qualified but didn't take classes regularly. The syllabus was not completed on time. Few students scored more than 60%. The course curriculum didn't make students industry ready. Exams were conducted on time.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in this subject. Classes should be conducted regularly. Our college should organise other activities properly. It was the best college to get a degree but not for the quality of education.
