Jai Narain Vyas University BSc is a three-year undergraduate degree programme, divided into six semesters and offered in full-time mode. Four colleges of Jodhpur are affiliated with Jai Narain University, the names of the colleges are MBM Engineering College, Jaswant College, SMK College and K.N. Women's College. The university and its affiliated colleges provide BSc courses in several specialisations. The basic eligibility criteria required by the university for admission to BSc courses is candidates must complete their Class 12 from CBSE 12th, RBSE 12th, UP 12th, BSEB 12th, PSEB 12th and any other recognised board of the education. Additionally, students need to secure at least an aggregate of 48% in their Class 12 in the PCB/ PCM stream.
The university released the merit list based on candidates' Class 12 scores, and it also accepts the score of Rajasthan JET. In both of the admission processes, the university conducts a personal interview for final admission. Hence, Jai Narain University BSc admission is based on merit/ entrance exam. Jai Narain Vyas University formerly known as the University of Jodhpur, is a popular government university in Rajasthan. The total tuition fee for BTech programme at JNVU Jodhpur is INR 1.99 lakhs. For BBA, the fee is INR 24,000. Overall, it is not a very expensive college & fees are reasonable for the students.
NEET 2024 was conducted on May 5, 2024. NTA announced the exam date on September 19, approximately eight months in advance. NTA has decided the exam date after much deliberation and assessing situations such as Board exam schedule, other exams, etc. Over the past few years, NEET exam date was delayed owing to the pandemic situation, which affected the overall academic calendar.
