Admission to various degree courses is usually done on the basis of the score of the entrance examination and the passing marks in the qualifying examination, at Jai Narain Vyas University. Students most of the time need to have 50% to 60% of the total marks in their 12th standard qualifying exams so that they can study in courses or maybe fields of their choices. A minimum of 55 to 60% in the particular undergraduate degree is required for the students who wish to join the postgraduate classes. Sometimes higher marks are pre-requisites to join competitive courses in engineering, business administration or law. Through JEE, CAT or University level exams, one also has to pass through exam like hurdles. To elaborate, the exact minimum score that an applicant will require to be deemed eligible will differ from year to year depending on myriad factors including application enrollment and seat availability.
