Jain University MDes Eligibility & Highlights 2025

At Jain (Deemed-to-be University), MDes is a two-year programme available across two specialisations, offered by The D School under it. MDes admission is based on a valid score in UCEED or JET entrance exams. JET exam in this case is inclusive of a portfolio review round followed by a personal interview round. Tabulated below are the minimum eligibility required for this programme across both the specialisations:

I am satisfied with the course, the good environment, the course curriculum, and the good faculty.

Placements: All the students so far have been placed in good companies with good packages. Design studios, as well as top IT companies, are open to students after taking this course. They provide you with the skills and confidence. As far as this course is considered, you can apply for all the UX and UI roles in the industry.

Infrastructure: They do have beautiful and well-infrastructured classrooms that students would like. The hostel is good.

Faculty: The faculty help you as much as they can. The more you keep yourself updated, the more you shine in this field. There are jury sessions for skill-based subjects and theory exams for the other subjects. You will be briefed about this in the orientation. The course is very well structured by industry professionals. You get to explore a variety of subjects that fall under your domain. You are also exposed to the industry during your education itself.

Other: Our batch has been a mix of offline and online classes. So we were not able to take full advantage of the campus.

Can I get direct admission for BCA at Jain University?

Jain University BCA admission is entrance based. The accepted exam is the Jain Entrance Test (JET). This is followed by Personal Interview (PI) and Group Discussion (GD) rounds. Hence, there is currently no provision for direct admissions.
