JET 2026 exam application process is ongoing for the current academic session. Candidates can register for the exam at university website by creating a login ID and filling the online application form. JET exam is conducted for multiple courses and the exam dates are different for different courses. 

JET BTech will be conducted on April 9 and 10, 2026. The examination for BSc, BCA, BMS, BA, BFA, BDes, BPES & BSc Sports and Law will be conducted on April 9 and personal interview round will be conducted on April 10, 2026. JET BBA, BCom will be held on April 9 and 10; personal interview will be conducted on April 13 and 14, 2026.

What is Jain Entrance Test (JET)?

JET (JAIN Entrance Test) is a common entrance exam for admission to MBA, BTech and other UG/PG programmes offered by JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). The exam is conducted in multiple phases in remote proctored mode. Candidates can appear for the exam as per their chosen date and slot.

The university also accepts JEE MainCUETUNIGAUGE, CET, and COMEDK scores for BTech. Those applying for admission to BTech programme of Jain University need not appear for JET.

For pursuing MBA or other PG courses from Jain University, candidates must have:

  • At least 50% in bachelor's degree or equivalent (10+2+3) from a recognized university.

Yes, the syllabus of JET exam is different for each course. While Reading Comprehension, Maths and General Knowledge is common for all courses, one section of syllabus is subject specific.

JET 2026 Application Form - Open for All Courses

JET application form 2026 is available at jainuniversity.ac.in. Candidates have to create a login and apply. Check the process below:

  • Open university website
  • Click on registration tab and enter basic details
  • Verify registration with OTP received
  • Fill the application form
  • Upload photo and signature
  • Pay JET 2026 exam fee

There is no provision to submit JET application form separately. So, candidates must make sure that they submit their form before the last date and pay the fee too before the window closes.

Candidates have to upload the following documents at the time of application form filling:

  • Photo (JPG, PNG format only and size should not exceed 1 MB)
  • Class 10 Mark Sheet
  • Higher Secondary / Class 11 Standard with marks cards
  • Higher Secondary / Class 12 Standard
  • Diploma Certificate (If applicable)

Since JET is held in an Online Proctored Assessment method, candidates must take care of the following:

  • Supported Devices: Desktop computers and laptop computers. Webcam and Microphone are mandatory and must remain switched on during the duration of the test.
  • Non-Supported Devices: Android Devices, iPads and iPhone
  • Operating System: For Desktops and Laptops: Windows 7 or above (Windows 10 recommended), Mac OS 10.13 and above, and Linux (Ubuntu versions 18.04, 16.04, 15.04 only) systems.

Math is an important section of JET exam for all courses, so it is not advisable to skip it. Moreover, it carries about 20 marks so not attempting any question from Math section may affect the overall result.

No, JET syllabus is not difficulty as it pertains to the subjects studied in previously. BTech exam has syllabus same as PCB. Other UG courses syllabus for JET includes topics studied in class 11 and 12. For MBA course exam, the syllabus is same as other entrances – quants, English, reasoning.

The level of Math questions are not too difficult so it will not be a challenge to you if you have not studied the subject in class 11-12. Just go through the basics of Geometry, Algebra and Arithmetic of Class 9 and 10, and it should be enough.
