What is Jain Entrance Test (JET)?

JET (JAIN Entrance Test) is a common entrance exam for admission to MBA, BTech and other UG/PG programmes offered by JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). It is conducted in remote proctored mode. The application window remains open from February to June for candidates to apply and appear for the test as per their convenience.

The university also accepts JEE MainCUETUNIGAUGE, CET, and COMEDK scores for BTech. Such candidates do not have to appear for JET exam. The exam is followed by GD/PI and counselling rounds for selection of candidates for admission.

Meeting JET eligibility criteria is mandatory for applying. Check eligibility for UG and PG courses:

  • At least 50% in graduation
  • Final year students are also eligible to apply
  • For MSc and other Science courses, candidates should have studied relevant subjects in graduation
  • There is no upper age limit to appear in JET
  • Passing marks in class 12 or HSc from a recognised board

How to apply for JET 2026?

JET application form 2026 is available at jainuniversity.ac.in. Candidates have to create a login and apply. Check the process below:

  2. Click on registration tab and enter basic details
  3. Verify registration with OTP received
  4. Fill the application form with relevant details 
  5. Upload photo and signature
  6. Pay JET 2026 exam fee to complete the process

JET is conducted in remote prroctored mode, so candidates have to keep in mind the following:

  • Use desktop computers or laptop. Webcam and Microphone are mandatory and must remain switched on during the test.
  • Operating System: For Desktops and Laptops: Windows 7 or above (Windows 10 recommended), Mac OS 10.13 and above, and Linux (Ubuntu versions 18.04, 16.04, 15.04 only) systems.
  • Use Google Chrome (84.0.4147.135 or later) as browswer
  • Processor: Core 2 Duo and above.
  • Processor speed: 1.5 GHz and above; RAM: minimum 1 GB.

JET admit card 2026 will be issued only when the candidate has submitted the application form and paid the registration fee successfully. To download JET 2026 admit card, candidates will have to follow the process given below:
