However, the placements in B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering are comparatively better, Because the demand for IT is increasing in the market. However, every course in this college has a unique value, like B.Tech. in Aeronautical Engineering, B.Tech. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and many more, are the courses which have high demand in the market. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) at Jain Deemed-to-be University, Bangalore, offers a fee refund policy based on the reason for cancellation and on when the cancellation request is submitted. There is a clause that states “Should a student leave after joining the course and if the seat consequently falling vacant has been filled by another candidate by the last date of admissions, the Institution must return the fee collected with proportionate deductions on a monthly fee and proportionate hostel rent, wherever applicable” by UGC regulation F. No 6-1(7)/2006(CPP-I). The documents you need are:Original receipt of the fee paid and the other documents.Account numbers are needed as telephonic or courier / postal communication will not be accepted for the refund process.If the classes have started the refund will not be processed.

To be eligible for the admission to B.Tech at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Bangalore, the candidate must pass a 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, or Biology. The minimum marks for the general category are 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the 12th from a recognized board. Candidates are required to appear for one of the following entrance exams: KCET, COMEDK UGET or JET (Jain Entrance Test). The selection is done based on entrance exam scores, counselling, document verification, and final selection based on entrance exam scores and other relevant factors.The application deadline for the 2024-2025 academic year is March 25, 2024.

The specific cutoff lists for each exam will likely be released after the respective exam results are announced. So probably the cut-off will be released after the exam results are out.
