The aspirants who are Class 12 or equivalent pass can apply for the course admission. However, the qualifying exam should have been passed with the required minimum aggregate. The aggregate varies for BA, BA (Hons), and integrated BA programmes. For example, to get into Jamia Hamdard BA LLB course, aspirants must be Class 12 pass with at least 45% aggregate. During form filling and admission, aspirants must hold the relevant documents as well. These are required by the authorities for verification purposes.

According to information gathered from various sources, the general Jamia Hamdard cutoff is between 359 and 186. The cutoff is different every year. Candidates for the BPharm programme are chosen by Jamia Hamdard based on their NEET-UG or JEE Main scores and a minimum of 50% of their Class 12 PCM/B grades. Although candidates who are not NEET or JEE qualified will be given preference, non-NEET and non-JEE candidates may also apply. Applicants who took both biology and math in their 12th grade must apply individually on the JEE Main and NEET forms.
