Q:   Who sets the CUET PG syllabus?
A:

The CUET PG 2026 examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency in the various examination centres across the nation a few cities outside India. The syllabus for the CUET PG papers will be set by the exam conducting authority. Changing the syllabus of CUET PG depends upon the examination authority. However, the chances are very less. The applicants of CUET PG can download and check the previous year syllabus of their applied programme in this page itself.

Factors upon which the CUET PG syllabus might change:

  • One of the most important reasons that the CUET PG syllabus might change is dependent upon any changes made under the NEP- New Education Policy by the Ministry of Education.
  • Changes made by UGC, Master of Human Resource Development in the master's degree programme might alter the CUET PG syllabus.
  • NTA (National Testing Agency), the examination conducting body for CUET PG Examination, can change if the exam authorities feel the significance of adding some important topics in the syllabus to ameliorate the holistic approach of the students towards the subject. 
Q:   Did CUET PG MCA syllabus 2026 change?
A:

The CUET PG 2026 syllabus for MCA has remained the same as last year. Last year, NTA added some new topics in the CUET PG MCA syllabus for the academic session 2025-2026. There are three major subjects in the CUET PG MCA syllabus, namely, Decision Making and Thinking Skills, Mathematics and Computers. The exam officials added a few more topics in the Computer subject.

The added topics are mentioned below:

  • Computer networks: OSI Model, TCP/IP model, LAN technologies (Ethernet, Token ring), Transmission media – twisted pair, coaxial cables, fibre-optic cables, Flow and error control techniques,
  • Routing algorithms, Congestion control, IP (v4), Application layer protocols (icmp, dns, smtp, pop, ftp, http); Sliding window protocols; Internetworking: Switch /Hub, Bridge, Router, Gateways,
  • Concatenated virtual circuits, Firewalls: Network Security; Cryptography- public key, secret key.
  • Domain Name System (DNS)-Electronic Mail and World Wide Web (WWW). 
  • Database Management System: Data Models, Schemas, and Instances; Three-Schema Architecture and Data Independence; Database Languages and Interfaces; Centralized and Client/Server Architectures for DBMS, Functional Dependencies and Normalization; Algorithms for Query Processing and Optimization; Transaction Processing, Concurrency Control Techniques, Database Recovery Techniques, Object and Object-Relational Databases; Database Security and
    Authorization. Entity-Relationship Diagram, Relational Model - Constraints, Languages, Design, and Programming, Relational Database Schemas, Update Operations and Dealing with Constraint Violations; Relational Algebra and Relational Calculus; Codd Rules.

MSc Biochemistry

An MSc in Biochemistry is a 2-year master's degree programme that deals with the study of the chemical processes and substances that occur within living organisms. MSc Biochemistry combines the study of two interdisciplinary fields i.e., Biology and Chemistry to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying various biological processes. CUET PG 2026 application form process has been concluded. Last date to submit application form was January 23, 2026. Correction window was active till January 30, 2026. Exam is scheduled to be held from March 6 till March 27, 2026 for various courses. No extension has been provided by NTA.

NTA has reduced number of centres from 312 to 292 in CUET PG 2026. In addition, students can choose 4 city choices. Earlier they were provided only 2 options. This time, students will have to answer only A section which is domain specific.

Registration fee for CUET PG 2026 varies for each category. For General students, registration fee is INR 1400 while for OBC, fee is 1200. SC/ST category students ahve to pay INR 1100 as application fee. This fee is for choosing maximum two test papers.

Yes. CUET PG application process has already been completed. NTA had released CUET PG 2026 application form online on December 14, 2026. Last date to submit application form for CUET PG 2026 was January 23, 2026.

Those who have bachelor's or equivalent degree from recognised institute or college can appear for CUET PG 2026. Final year students are also elligible for CUET PG exam. There is no capping on age in CUET PG exam.

NTA has released the CUET PG city intimation slip on its official website. The candidates can login with their credentials and check their city of examination.
