The JMI entrance exam is being conducted in offline mode. Candidates have to fill and submit the JMI application form before the deadline. Candidates who pass the JMI entrance test in 2023 are enrolled in a variety of UG and PG programmes provided by the various arts, science, and commerce streams. The candidates who manage to pass the JMI entrance exam are required to fulfil the Jamia Millia Islamia counselling procedure before fixing a seat for the JMI admission 2023.

The process of application for all coures to JMI now stands closed. For the 2023 entrance exam, the counselling session was scheduled to begin from the second week of August once the JMI entrance result was declared for all programmes. The JMI entrance results are released online and in the form of a merit list. Selected candidates are required to complete their admission formalities on or before the date notified in the admission schedule. Candidates will be required to bring the admit card of Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance exam and attested copies of the required documents. JMI counselling 2023 is conducted separately for different courses on different dates.

Jamia Millia Islamia offers seat reservations in almost all the courses based on the category of the students.
