The basic requirement for any participant is a bachelor's degree in any subject for any standard with minimum 50 % marks for general category and 45 % for SC/ST/OBC. Basing from the entrance examination, applicants are selected then undergo a counseling session. For Language and Literature and other related fields, extra weights could be added from the performance in academic, as well as prior working experience. The last admission is only after a college counseling session and based on the number of available seats.
