Kakatiya University Scholarships and Funding
The SC/ST Cell is giving wide publicity through circulars to all the faculties and informs the students about the various scholarships; namely, Post-Metric Scholarship, Meritorious Scholarship, P.G. Women Scholarship, Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship, P.G. Scholarship for professional courses, ICMR, CSIR, ICSSR and other scholarships, and fellowships.
The SC/ST Cell is also helping the SC/ST Research Scholars in getting the University Fellowship from the university and the government. The University is providing statistical information periodically and promptly on all aspects to the Government of India, and the State Government.
The SC/ST Cell has taken up the problems of the SC/ST students and employees with the university authorities and has solved some of them amicably. The cell, in the ultimate analysis, has been a user friendly counsellor to all SC/ST employees and students.
The MBA programme of Kakatiya University is extended over a period of two years. It is further divided into four semesters. Kakatiya University fee for the MBA programme ranges from INR 41,600 to INR 42.9 Lakhs, depending upon the college selected. The mentioned fee is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
TS EAMCET Counselling fee for OBC category candidates is INR 1200 and for Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) Category is INR 600. CMR College of Engineering and Technology admission to the BTech course is done through TS EAMCET exam followed by TS EAMCET Counselling which is to be conducted in three phases namely, Phase 1, Phase 2 and Final Phase. Spot Round will also be conducted for Private Unaided Engineering Colleges. MS Ramaiah College of Law does not give scholarship to EWS students. Nirma University gives a scholarship of INR 2 Lacs each to 15 students whose parents have an annual income of INR 4 Lacs or less and a scholarship of INR 1 Lacs each to 15 students whose parents have an annual income of INR 8 Lacs

There have been certain requests received from the students of various courses of different Colleges under the jurisdiction of Kakatiya University for re-imbursement of fee paid by them on cancellation of their admissions due to various reasons.
In this regard, the UGC, New Delhi has issued certain guidelines vide reference cited wherein clearly stipulated to refund the entire fee paid by the students who wish to cancel their admissions within time bound Le, with a charging of 1,000/- processing fee Irrespective of regular/SFC courses.
