The TS EAMCET Counselling 2025 will be conducted in three phases, namely Phase 1, Phase 2, and the Final Phase, for admission into BE/BTech/BPharma courses by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) and will be managed by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). Further, TS EAMCET (now TS EAPCET) Spot Round will also be conducted for Private Unaided Engineering Colleges.
The mode of Kakatiya University Warangal course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are TS EAMCET, TSICET, CPGET, and others. Candidates must prepare well in advance for the accepted entrance exams. This makes the admissions easy. Also, do carry all the necessary documents handy for successful admissions.
Kakatiya University accepts admissions to its BTech programmes based on the scores and counselling of TS EAPCET. There is no seaparate entrance exam for admission to the university. Candidates must register for the TS EAPCET exam on the official exam website. After qualifyin the exam, candidates have to register for the TS EAPCET counselling, with Kakatiya University BTech as their preferred college.
The four-year undergraduate B.Tech. programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering is offered by Kakatiya University. There are 66 spots available for the course. The entire cost of tuition for the B.Tech. programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Kakatiya University is INR 1.40 Lakh. Students must also pay an additional INR 16,630 for a dorm fee in addition to the tuition. Applicants must complete the entrance standards, which are 45% in the 12th grade, in order to be admitted to Kakatiya University's B.Tech. programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Kakatiya University accepts TS ICET scores for admitting students into its MBA programme. TS ICET is an online/computer-based test (CBT), consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions, to be solved in 150 minutes. Each question carries one mark. No marks will be deducted for a wrong answer. There are three sections of the exam, namely, Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability and Communication Ability. Students can choose English and Urdu or English and Telugu as the medium, for sections other than Communication Ability, which need to be attempted in English only.
Kakatiya University has a total intake of 920 seats for all streams of BTech that are offered at the Warangal campus of the university. These seats are allotted through TM EAPCET counselling. Only the students who have appeared for the TS EAPCET entrance exam are eligible to apply for this counselling. During the counselling, the candidates have to place Kakatiya University BTech at the top of their college preference list. If the candidate has cleared the required cut-off, a seat will be allotted to them, subject to the fulfilment of other eligibility criteria.
The cut-off required for admission to the MBA programme of Kakatiya University varies from year to year. It is released in the form of closing TS ICET rank at which MBA admission will be provided. In 2024, the closing cut-off rank for MBA admission was 12,282. Candidates who secured a rank above the mentioned TS ICET rank were eligible for admission.
For Kakatiya University BTech admission, candidates have to appear for the TS EAPCET entrance exam. The registration fee payable by the engineering aspirants is INR 500 for SC/ST & PWD, and INR 900 for others. For TS EAPCET counselling, the registration fee is INR 600 for SC/ST & PWD, and INR 1200 for others. Both the fees can be paid via online payment modes like debit cards, credit cards and netbanking.
The Common Admission Test (CAT) score is accepted by Kakatiya University for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme. The university counts CAT scores among the most important considerations in the application process, along with personal statement, professional experience, and academic standing. Although it fluctuates from year to year, the minimum CAT score needed for admission to Kakatiya University's MBA programme usually falls between the 70 and 85 percentile.
Kakatiya University accepts scores from the CAT in addition to those from other MBA entry tests like the XAT, GMAT, and MAT. However, the CAT is the recommended entrance exam and is thought to have more weight in the admissions process for Kakatiya University's MBA programme. It is advised that you take the CAT exam and do well if you plan to apply to Kakatiya University's MBA programme. Having a high CAT score will improve your chances of getting accepted into the course of study.
