Dissatisfied with the lack of extracurricular activities and the strictness of management.
Placements: Kamineni Academy of Medical Sciences and Research Centre is a medical college, so there are no placements because all the students should do a mandatory rotating internship in the same college after completing their MBBS fourth year. So, there are no placements in medical colleges like this.
Infrastructure: We usually get Wi-Fi in the classrooms, but there are many rooms in the hospital where we don't get Wi-Fi. The equipment in the labs is all available and good to use. Classrooms are air-conditioned and large enough to fit all the students, with three projectors so that students from all rows can see the topic being taught. The library has a wide range of medical books, journals, and material required for research. There are only a few extra curricular activities, and there is only one sports room for all the students from four years, and the room is small too.
Faculty: Teachers teach regularly. They follow the schedule and complete topics in the given time without any frantic completion of the syllabus at the end. The quality of teaching is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, making students understand a particular topic right from its aetiology to its treatment. We do not have semesters, it is yearly. And we have 2 internals, which are usually 3 months apart and then a pre-finals followed by finals. The difficulty level is medium, with questions including clinical scenario-based ones too instead of just direct questions. The pass percentage is high.
Other: I chose MBBS because I always wanted to become a doctor and help others. I would change the subject distribution per year in my course. There is only one event in our college per year, and that is the fest. There are very rare chances for connectivity. The college is right on the main road of L.B Nagar, hence the campus is small and mostly surrounded by vehicles, with only a little bit of greenery.

My 5 years of experience at KNRUHS.
Placements: Placements in a traditional engineering or corporate sense do not apply to this university. Instead 100 percent of students complete a mandatory 1-year. Rotating internship at the attached government hospital during this internship students receive a standard government stipend rather than a corporate package. Upon graduation students write the PG entrance exam.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are suspicious because they like modern smart boards and air-conditioning. Labs are decently equipped for daily practicals but some medical instruments are outdated and require upgrading. The library is the best part of a quiet study place and it has a good stock of reference books. The food is the best when compared to other hostels. Sports and games are not neglected and the ground is very spacious.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Most professors are practising doctors so their teaching qualities are heavily based on practical real-world clinical experience. The medical curriculum is highly relevant and aligns well with current healthcare standards making students thoroughly ready for clinical practice and future PG competitive exams. The university semester exams are quite difficult and demanding requiring strict daily dedication. The pass percentage is generally around 65 to 70 percent due to the strict evaluation process. Timepass structure forever the course is average.
Other: Yearly there are nearly four to five fests conducted. Campus is very green.
