Very few students got placed, and I'm not sure about the packages, but even the highest package in this college is not that high compared to other colleges.

B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027
4.2

Cyber Security course with strong industry exposure, good placements, and modern infrastructure.
Placements: I am from the 2023–2027 batch of B.Tech Cyber Security at Malla Reddy University. Around 75–80% of students in our course get placed through campus placements. The highest package offered is around 12 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average package stands at approximately 5.5 to 6 LPA. Top recruiters include Deloitte, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra. About 65–70% of students get internships at companies like Deloitte, Infosys, Palo Alto Networks, and various startups in the cybersecurity domain. Popular job roles offered are SOC Analyst, Cybersecurity Consultant, Penetration Tester, and Cloud Security Analyst.
Infrastructure: The Cyber Security department is well-equipped with modern labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and digital classrooms. It has access to platforms like Kali Linux, Wireshark, and VMware. The hostels are clean with 24/7 Wi-Fi, and the messy food is hygienic. But it could be more varied. The campus has a medical center, and sports facilities for both indoor and outdoor games. Ample space for recreation and study.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and well-qualified, and many have industry certifications. The curriculum is practical and industry-focused, covering topics like network defense, ethical hacking, risk management, and cloud security. Exams are moderately challenging but manageable with regular study. The pass percentage is around 85–90%. Students are supported with materials and revisions.
Other: I chose Cyber Security because it's a future-proof domain. The hands-on learning, helpful faculty, and opportunity to build real-time projects like SecureVault and Eye Mouse make the experience memorable. Improvements can be made in offering more specialized training for niche roles and expanding internship tie-ups with product-based companies. Overall, it's a strong program for anyone serious about a career in cybersecurity.

Completely dissatisfied because of poor placements and no proper management of students.
Placements: About 35% of people get placed. Mostly in BPO roles. The highest package is 3.25 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Tech Mahindra offers internships. About 10% of people get internships in BPO customer support roles. When it comes to placements, I can say our college fails because they do not stand by words.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and there is no complaint about that because they are charging a huge amount of fees from students. The quality is also good or above average. Some incidents happen during our college academics where some people get food poisoning because of poor food, but later they improve it, I think.
Faculty: The teaching quality is below average. They have less experienced faculty. The curriculum make students industry-ready, but they don't train students in that manner. The exams are also according to their wish. Sometimes, they give very tough papers if they want students to fail.
Other: I chose this course because it was trending in the market four years ago, but now it's not. It does not make students industry-ready. Events are also not good at all. They simply host one event for the academic year, and that is also a waste.

I'm dissatisfied with the faculty, although the curriculum is great and covers latest technology.
Placements: Around 600 students got placed, but the offered salary packages are quite low. Additionally, most of the companies that visit are service-based, there are barely any product-based companies. Students also do not have equal opportunities to participate in placements, and even the placement options available are not ideal.
Infrastructure: The classrooms infrastructure is excellent, with Wi-Fi, smart boards, and speakers. The college building is also good, with great sports facilities, including a really good cricket ground, volleyball court, table tennis, chess, carroms, kho-kho, and kabaddi. The college places a strong emphasis on sports.
Faculty: The faculty members are not highly qualified, but the curriculum is really good and covers the latest technologies. The exams are easy to pass, but most students lose marks in the internal assessments, as they have more weightage than the external exams. I wish the faculty had more knowledge. Overall, it’s not great.

The college is okay, but I do not recommend joining our campus.
Placements: There are not many placements on our campus. The highest package is 20 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Very few recruiting companies for our course. Not many students secured internships from our course, and there are no top roles available.
Infrastructure: Facilities on our campus are excellent, and the quality of food in the hostel is good, but there are no medical facilities available. Sports and games are decent, and teaching staff is excellent in our course, though the hostel food is very bad, so it is better to join private hostels.
Faculty: Teaching staff and teaching quality are very bad. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready, although semester exams are very hard, and the pass percentage is 70%.
Other: Events are better compared to those at other campuses. I need to improve in the medical course.

It has good infrastructure and decent placements.
Placements: About 75-80% of students get placed in our course. The highest package is 68 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Tech Mahindra and Amazon. 35% of students got internships at Flipkart and Cloud QA. The top roles offered are full-stack development and software development.
Infrastructure: There's Wi-Fi in classrooms. There are labs and libraries. The quality of the hostel facility is good. The quality of food is good and is available in the mess cafeteria. It conducts sports events and competitions in our college. There are medical facilities in our college.
Faculty: There are teachers who clarify doubts, and they have completed their Masters in IIT. They teach by projectors, create PPTs, and provide notes. They teach based on what the software companies are interested in, and they are scalable. There is strict invigilation, and the pass percentage is around 70%.
Other: CSE is a core subject and through this course, there will be multiple job offers, so I chose it. Events are conducted by various companies and join them.

Average experience with limited placements.
Placements: The placement scenario for our batch has been average so far. Only around 10% of the students have been placed as of now, with just two companies visiting for recruitment. Unfortunately, details about the highest, the lowest, and average packages have not been disclosed yet. In terms of internships, no opportunities have been provided to the students so far, as no companies have offered internships. The top recruiting companies or roles have not been highlighted yet since the placement process is still in its early stages. Hopefully, the situation improves with more companies visiting in the upcoming months.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for our course are quite basic. The classrooms and labs are functional but not very well-maintained, and Wi-Fi is available but often unreliable. The library is decent but could have a better collection of books specific to our course. The hostel is average, with manageable living conditions but nothing exceptional. The quality of food in the mess is okay, though it could be improved in terms of taste and variety. The canteen offers limited options. Medical facilities are present but not very prompt. Sports and games facilities exist but are minimal and not well-maintained. Overall, the infrastructure is just okay but needs improvement in several areas.
Faculty: The faculty in our course is okay overall. Some teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, but not everyone explains topics clearly, so self-study is often needed. The teaching quality depends a lot on the individual teacher. The curriculum is decent but does not fully prepare students for the industry. It is more theory-based and could include more practical or real-world skills to help us get ready for jobs. The semester exams are manageable. They are super hard, but you need to study consistently to pass. Most students do clear the exams without much trouble, so the pass percentage is pretty good.
Other: I chose this course because there wasn't much of a choice. It was more about availability than interest. There is nothing particularly unique or standout about the course so far, but it is manageable for now.
