Admission to Khallikote Unitary University is not very difficult if the candidates meet the basic eligibility criteria. The University offers admission based on merit, wherein, candidates require to achieve minimum aggregate in Class 12 or graduation, depending on the level of course opted for. For UG level courses, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate in Class 12 along with suggested subjects, whereas, for PG level courses, candidates must qualify graduation with a minimum aggregate of 45% to 50%. Apart from this, candidates must secure valid scores in the accepted entrance exams such as Orissa SAMS, OJEE, MAT, CAT, XAT and others.

Passing a minimum three-year Diploma exam with a grade point average of at least 45%
40% for candidates from the reserved categories

The OJEE counseling fee is INR 450. Selected candidates must pay a seat confirmation fee of INR 10,000 or 5000 depending on their category.

Admission to Khallikote University is competitive. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in any relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. The Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) and Odisha State Universities Common Entrance Test (OSUCET) scores are used in the selection process. For any remaining vacant seats, a valid OJEE / CAT / XAT / MAT score will be considered.
