Overall, it is an average university.

Placements: As it is a government college, there are no proper placements. Very few recruiters visit the college for placements. Only 5% of students get placed in placement drives. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys are the major companies that visit the campus for recruitment. They offer a salary of Rs. 12,000 per month. I have not heard about any student getting an internship.

Infrastructure: The campus is huge, but the building is very old. It is located in the heart of the city. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, but no one can use the Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms are huge and good, but the chairs are too old fashioned. However, the fee charged is reasonable. Earlier, there was a college canteen, but there is no canteen facility available now.

Faculty: Teachers and clerks in the college are very helpful. They are well qualified. They lack interest in teaching as the students prefer to teach in the tuition classes. Teaching methods are quite outdated. The teacher to student ratio is 1:80. The course curriculum was really helpful.

Other: Many events and fests are conducted in our college. The campus crowd is quite good, but the campus surroundings are crowded and unhealthy. There are various scholarships available in our college, and you can apply for all those scholarship programmes.

The campus is very good. The students can learn new things and explore new ideas.

Placements: Many opportunities are provided for students. Different software companies visited the college to hire the students from computer science background. The students can fulfil their dreams by participating in job mela.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are advanced. New tools and equipment are available in laboratories. Many opportunities are provided to learn new things and to find new solutions. The college supports the students in getting their dream come true and the students can also develop a good personality.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly to the students. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They give their best to the students. The faculty members are fully talented, and they provide a good quality of education. They are positive towards the students.

Other: Many programmes, functions and festivals are celebrated along with studies. The college campus is good.

You can go for this, only if you want a better and great future, and you can achieve.

Placements: The companies do come to our college, check for distinctions and ask for interviews. Whosoever is interested, can appear and go through an interview, and can get a chance. Three of my friends got recruited, and now, are serving in the companies. The salaries at first are not that satisfactory, but gradually, it will be increased.

Infrastructure: It is a government college, so don't expect something Hi-Fi, but it is the third largest university in the state, and it is now a university changed from autonomous. Its ground is very healthy and good. There are a big stadium and a gymnasium with indoor and outdoor game courts.

Faculty: Never all the faculty members can be awesome, but some are very good and clear everything in detail. The course curriculum is also manageable, and there is nothing like attendance for some subjects. Even though you don't attend the classes, there is no problem in that because you will be marked as present.

Khalikote Autonomous University.

Placements: The placement was quite good. 80% of students are getting a good package. The highest salary offered is 1 lakh monthly. The average is Rs., 35,000. There is a placement cell in the college premises. 30% of students have got an internship from the college itself. The stipend is quite low.

Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure in the college. There is a good physics laboratory. A well-furnished library with internet facility is available. Classrooms are facilitated with smart class. A hostel is present inside the campus. Well-equipped sports equipment with a very good playground array are present.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and quite knowledgeable. Blackboard teaching is dominant. It is now itself a university, so it is a plus point for students. The curriculum is quite advanced. Exposure to students is qualitative. Industrial exposure is there. Support staff is friendly.

Other: There are regular events. Annual fest is a must for the college. CCA is predominant. The campus is equipped with Wi-Fi. It is located in the midst of the city.

Satisfied with the teaching staff and the non-teaching staff.

Placements: I have worked at Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kaithapadar as a computer teacher, so it is only possible for my degree. I would like to thank my college for giving us many things. I got selected for Wipro as well as Infosys, but I preferred this one.

Infrastructure: We have the well-Wi-Fi connection on the campus. The classrooms are good. There are medical facilities, and more than like all types of things are available on the campus like sports, labs, canteen, and toilet facilities are good. The college environment is good for us.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-educated and well-trained. The education is good, and the teaching techniques are good. The teaching staff members are good. They qualified NET, GATE, and also qualified the written exam and viva. One more thing is that they teach the students like their children.

Teachers are very good and cooperative.

Placements: Thyrocare and TCS, Tata Motors, etc. Good companies visit here. Salary offered is about 12-20k per month. Selection is based on the interview. Candidates are selected on the basis of their communication skills, not on the basis of marks.

Infrastructure: Labs, library, Wi-Fi and good classrooms are there. Hostels are also available with good food. Books are also available. Wi-Fi is very bad. You have to use municipality free Wi-Fi which is also very bad. You can also hire a private hostel. Many private hostels are available.

Faculty: Faculty is good here but they are available for a short time. Students prefer getting private tuitions. Students come to the college only at the time of exams. If you cooperate with the teachers then they cooperate with you. You will have to clear your doubts with the teachers personally. Quality of teachers is not bad. All the teachers are well qualified. Student to faculty ratio is about 100:1.
